  • If you are all out enjoying the sunshine and BBQ's just remember - sun doesn't shine all the time, and you don't always go out and enjoy it. Once in a blue moon( or in this case blue sky) won't mean you pile every pound you have lost to date back on. Sure you might sts this week. But Next Week doesn't have any BBQ's in it (Just lots of Jubilee street parties :D ) so don't worry. Relax.

Avoid banana's and grapes as these are the highest sugar holders. Mix apples with berries in small bowls and drizzle with a yoghurt to have maximum fill effect.
Above all, change your meal plans if you have slowed down weight wise. Shock the system in to loosing again.

I lost 2lb last week, had hoped for more, but * week and all tends to mess with the flow.
2lb this week will put me in a new stone catagory, not very focused though this week. Having a tough old time here with the heat and an 18 month old going through the lovely stage of sleep regression at the same time. Shattered, grumpy and hot - and thats just me. Keeping my head down till we come out the other side, keep up the good work guys. Every new day is a fresh start! :rotfl:

ISn't it strange how different foods affect different people. I eat a lot of fruit especially bananas and pears but it hasn't hindered my weight loss or bowel habits (2-3 times a day); bread on the other hand makes me feel bloated and bunged up so I don't bother with it.

Pasta seems to be a problem for some at my group too.

    Enjoy the sun everyone.

    well done vicki!

The heat is getting to me - I got sunburned sitting in the garden on Friday - for 10 minutes.....

Went for my walk this morning covered as much as possible with a hat pulled on over my ipod headphones.... looked a bit weird.

We made the chilli burgers from the current magazine and had them on the BBQ on Thursday - they were really nice....

will prob BBQ again today - have some stuff left in fridge/freezer and the kitchen gets too hot. Lots of what i do is S/W friendly and i eat a plate full of salad with it instead of bread...
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j

Hello all, sorry I haven't been around for the past couple of weeks, things have been incredibly hectic.

Well done to all those who have have successful WI's and to all others - stick with it, you know it makes sense.

Many congratulations to gunsandbanjos - fantastic achievement.
Vicky83 - really pleased to hear that your God daughter is on the road to recovery.
Gettingthere54 - sounds like you had a fabulous holiday. And don't worry about the little gain you'll soon be back to where you want to be.
And to everyone else - WELL DONE - you're still here and motivated.:T

Have had 2 WI's since I last checked in: 16/05 - lost 1/2lb. Was fine with me but my consultant didn't seem too pleased and wanted to know where I had gone 'wrong'. I am always happy with a loss and naturally would always like to do more, but surely, as long as I'm sticking with the plan the consultant should be pleased too. He was happier this week (23/05) when I lost 2lb. I have no idea why the better loss this week, but hey ho!, that's what happens.

Off to make burgers for BBQ dinner. May also BBQ some scallops. Have a lovely evening.
