WI was tonight, lost 1lb which was a lovely surprise given that I was away over the weekend and the plan pretty much went out the window. I think my saving grace was all the walking me and the hubby did and I had stuck to plan the rest of the week. Back in my WW days, if I had a bad week and still lost I used to see this as a green light to test what I could get away. I'm determined that will not be the case this time, I'm going to hit it hard this week, I want at least 2lb off next WI!

have been away for a long weekend - home not long ago after the long trek down the motorway...

funny - stayed in self catering accommodation but other than breakfasts (which were not sw friendy) - we didn't make use of the kitchen facilities and ate out. Rather interestingly I felt frustrated that I was not in control of my food and couldn't have sw friendly meals - yet for many weeks have not been sticking to the plan ? and have been having too many syns? don't understand it ???

I also finally gave in and bought some summer trousers in the size that prompted me to join sw in the first place.

Trousers that I wore last week didn't fit me this weekend :( and were not really the ideal thing to wear in this warm weather. Just counting down to how quickly I can put them on and they fall off me :rotfl:

well off to bed and will catch up properly over the next few days. back to work tomorrow :(

Hello, Is there room for one more in here ? I've been doing slimming world a while now and know that it works when I stick to it properly - but that's the problem at the moment I'm struggling! However I've got a holiday in 9 weeks so going to use this as motivation, ideally I'd like to lose a stone by then but following a 3lb gain tonight it seems like a long way off!

    Welcome:)
You'll get lots of encouragment here.

    Good morning!

Some great losses this week, well done chaps! 1.5 off for me this week - aiming for 2.5 next week to get my 1.5 stone award. Consultant asked me what I could do to get it and I said up the exercise, so I finally walked the 4 miles into work today :j Was quite a nice walk- weather has cooled right down which was good, as some of it is quite hilly. Around the halfway point there is a steep hill which flattens into a shallow but longish hill, the upside being when you reach the top of that it is then downhill though a park with great views across the city. Was nice just to have a bit of quiet time before work, although just before I got into work and was looking a bit hot and sweaty my boss drove past :rotfl: Will walk home tonight then try both ways again on Thurs.

    Green for me today:
B: Bran flakes (HEB), milk (HEA), banana
    L: Mugshot, strawberries and raspberries
T: Pasta with pesto (2.5), roast veg, cheese (HEA), pitta (HEB)
    S: Apple, Freddo (5), Options (2)

    :)

    I think I need help!!

I know sw works, I've lost over 2 stone for goodness sake. But I just can't get into it. :(

Was thinking the warmer weather would pave the way for healthier eating of salads and more fruit but it hasn't.

Last night I gorged like a monster, I had 2 lots of melted cheese, 2 bags of crisps, half a bag of popcorn and a chocolate muffin. This was after a healthy tea of homemade pizza and loads of salad - what is wrong with me.

I've shared this all with you so I can be ashamed when I read back.

I've started off today with a positive mind set, went for a 30 min walk and have my meals all planned out for the day. It's just come evening time I turn into this food craved psycho and would probably try eating the furniture if it happened that the fridge was empty :(

Can anyone advise? As you can probably tell I am desperate.
