Feeling grumpy this morning. I hate Mondays. Didn't sleep very well either last night

Same for me as well. I woke up several times for some reason & i am feeling tired this morning. :(

I am trying a green day today for the first time so my menu is this -

    B - 35g of grape nuts with skimmed milk (HEX A & B )

L - Ainsley Harriett cous cous (half a pack used so 0.5 syns) , have thrown in some peppers, quorn chicken pieces (free) and button mushrooms to make a bit more filling.

D - Sweet potato chips with a veggie omelette topped with 2nd HEX A 45g of reduced fat cheese

S - pineapple & melon, low fat greek yoghurt (0.5 syns) , packet of kooks vegetable & rice snacks (4 syns )

Does this look ok for a green day??

Also just wondering about what other people do about clothes? Most of clothes are feeling baggy on me now but am feeling reluctant to spend since i am still another 1.5 stone from target.

ETA - Not going to my usual WI this PM. Am trying out another consultant this week so WI will be Thurs this week

I tend to live in dresses and leggings. These will last me down a dress size (you could prob buy a size down and it will fit now- I wear some 16s but Im an 18. You could buy a belt for trousers? I bought a size 16 dress in the sale to wear when I've lost a stone- it would prob fit me now though.

Have you looked in charity shops for "new" clothes? Much cheaper than buying new and means you don't need to wear baggy clothes all the time.

I'm having amnesia about day 7 yesterday... It started out well but I ended up at work for 17 hours and I just ate whatever was there that would keep my energy. I did have 4 HEB items and probably 10-15 syns....

So I'm drawing a line under yesterday and starting afresh today. Hope everyone is doing OK x

Am now in my second week of SW and enjoying eating rather a lot of food and reading through the messages.

Probably a silly question but I wondered if anyone knows how tablets are treated, such as primrose, flaxseed and cod liver oil. Do they have an impact on syns or weightloss.

    Hi Losers ;)

Been MIA the last few days, hope you are all well I was unable to do my Jillian Michaels DVD as I had a sore back, felt like a pulled muscle & didn’t want to make it worse so never done it Fri/sat/sun but feel better now so back on it tonight. I made the Chicken noodle soup from the recipe thread yesterday, is very nice. * turned up on Friday so feelin a tad bloated. Got the new mag in on Friday, didn’t feel there were as many recipes at May/June issue ??

    todays EE plan

B – Frozen berries, ff nat yoghurt, melon
L – Chicken noodle soup, melon, Alpen light (½ HEB)
Dinner – Lasagna (HEA & 1 Syn) salad, alpen light (½ HEB)
S – Yoghurt, banana, Satsuma, apple

I am not sure of any syn value but tbh i wouldn't be synning them at all if i need to take them for the benefit of my health then i will take them regardless. Is the flaxseed in a tablet form? Or the stuff you can buy in H & B? If the latter then yes would syn this as i know calorie content is quite high..

I saw a thread on minimins recently with someone asking for syn value for cough medicine which is bonkers. I think if you are ill then you take whatever you need to get better again. Health is more important than syn values !

Sorry went a bit OT there but i think synning medicine is ludicrous -

1.5lbs off for me this week, nearly got all my 'exam' weight off now, just 1 more lb to go. Was being very good yesterday til hubby decided to 'treat' me to dinner out. He chose a Chinese buffet though! Lovely thought but not very helpful to me. I didn't eat too much though so hopefully not too much damage done.
