anyway it's full of WW meals when the glitch was on...got them for 'emergencies' but never ate any might try offload them to a friend!
I'm definitely someone who is lighter in a morning than in an evening so not sure what to expect when I weigh in for first time on Tuesday at 5. On weigh day does everyone eat as normal or try to limit intake until after they've been weighed?
I have been buying those weight watchers meals (the ones that are 5 syns or less) for my emergency, get up for work and having nothing planned moments. I was buying the Innocent Veg pots - but they are higher in syns and more expensive and choice is limited - the only one our local supermarket had was the mexican sweet potato chilli one. Im so bored of it! I don't think I want to eat one ever again!
On the weigh in day front, I eat and drink exactly as normal. I used to weigh in at 6pm now its later so I usually eat before weigh in. I know some people eat and drink as little as possible on weigh in day but because I'm at work, I can't go without a decent lunch and I don't drink enough as it is so would be reluctant to invoke a no fluids ban after my lunch. I have actually found that eating before weigh in works better for me.0 -
Hi everyone.... Well I survived our weekend away though I think I am getting too old for 2 big nights back to back.
Foodwise I wasn't bad - I chose relatively wisely and stuck more or less to plan but the booze is a different matter. Had LOTS of red wine on Fri night - probably over 2 bottles; then Sat night was gin & slim, cocktails and wine.
I'm now having a quick turn about at home, repacking my bag and away in an hour and half's time with work. Driving to Bristol tonight and home late Tues night. I will miss WI tomorrow which I hope allows me to work hard this week to keep syns to a minimum and get back on track.
oh and MedMum my damn predicition was right, totm arrived 7 days early so the only bodymagic I had was walking round Edinburgh with a hangover - booMortgage Aug 22 £280,000

And here was me thinking that the "two big nights" you were referring to was all body magic related
Have a good business trip and keep off the booze!Mediterranean Mum

Evening all! I'm still catching up on the rest of the thread...getting there
Got lots of ideas for things to cook. Just had SW Cauliflower cheese which was AMAZING!
I'm panicking about my 2nd WI in tomorrow...week 1 was 0.5lb on for no reason as I 100% stuck to plan. I've stuck to it again this week but I'm panicking that it will be another gain. I know it's got to start working at some point but I keep having silly thoughts like what if SW doenst work for me...I know that is complete rubbish and it does work, especially after reading this thread and seeing all your impressive loses. I'm really worried that I am going to go tomorrow and it's going to show I have gained or not lost anything and they are all going to think I must not be sticking to the planSlimming World Target Achieved 13/09/12!0 -

I doubt that you will see a maintain or a gain on the scales tomorrow and that you will have a fab fab fab loss to celebrate :j If it does turn out to be gain then there will be a reason behind it and your consultant/the group will help you with this. have you been keeping a food diary for your consultant???0 -

Have you kept a food diary & are you drinking enough fluids?Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -
Thanks for the replies, yes I have kept a food diary. My consultant had a look after my gain last week and said it was all ok. I've kept one this week too to show her tomorrow.
I have had lots of water, in fact haven't stopped weeing all week :-) I thought this might have been the issue last week as I was really bloated so upped it this week. I guess I will just have to wait and see tomorrow and try and chill out until then :-)Slimming World Target Achieved 13/09/12!0 -

Feeling grumpy this morning. I hate Mondays. Didn't sleep very well either last night (nor saturday night
)
Anyhow did do lots of chopping and prepping last night so my lunch today simply involves opening my fridge/freezer and removing lunch box(es) :j
Menu today is RED
Breakfast: Muller Greek Honey peach yogurt (0.5 syns each) - may have two (1 syn) 30g muesli (HEB)
chopped banana. Also have melon prepped.
Lunch - WW mexican chilli meal (5.5 syns (I think) - will update later. served with huge salad (lettuce, pepper cucumber, spring onion, red onion)
Tea
Tesco simply cook lamb shank
measured potatoes (if stick with red)
veg bag from freezer
Have had a really rubbish weekend foodwise and hoping to rein in before weigh in on tuesday. will see if i can cancel pub lunch I have on Tuesday as have enough salad prepped to feed an army! and don't want to waste it.
Hope everyone has a fab day :j
