Has anyone attempted making this?
Carb free cloud bread
http://www.food.com/recipe/carb-free-cloud-bread-411501
Sounds good and it gets great reviews!
Some people who have tried them have added garlic powder to give more flavour. I suppose you could add whatever you wanted, I'm thinking of herbs, or poppy seeds. Definitely going to make these later, will report back.
I think I know what those taste like. I did low carbing for two years and the community is obsessed with finding a good bread substitute. I can honestly say that the only carb-free bread that was any good was a very expensive one that I bought from a specialist website - and even then it was a bit weird. I tried many recipes. That recipe above is mainly eggs, so it won't be anything like bread, it'll be like a tough omelette. Bleargh! And also we can have bread on SW so no need.... still, let us know how they turned out!0 -
Meal out this lunchtime - perusing the pub menu the best option seems to be asparagus with poached duck egg, but there's hollandaise sauce - can anyone tell me syns for that? I'm sure it's pretty horrific.0

On the website it says 1 1/2 level tbsp is 1 1/2 syns- so tuck in£20 a day April 2014 £834.87/£600 :j
£20 a day May 2014 £108.45/£6000 -
Thank you. I reckon I shall have a bit then and shove the rest to one side...0

I've discovered a big love for fruit since starting SW.
I always liked strawberries and grapes but never ate enough, I would go through phases. But since starting SW I eat every fruit going, but in particular I love raspberries and I've now discovered a love for blueberries.....but my god are they expensive! I could demolish a tub of blueberries with a mullerlight. Tesco have blueberries on offer at the minute though, £1.99 instead of £3.99
Are there any other fruit bargains around?
Morrisons strawbs are £1 but to be honest the quality is deteriorating quickly!
Have you tried the frozen fruit tubs? They are available at Tesco's and Morrisions - usually for about £2 each. They are available in summer fruits, raspberries, melon and strawberries (although the strawberries imo don't taste that nice)
I usually take out a handful at night and then have them for breakfast stirred into a Muller.
A lot more cheaper than buying fresh and I can't taste any difference0 -

Perhaps you are now where your body is comfortable, there's not point making yourself miserable for the sake of 5 or 6 lbs now is there *big hug*
Hello hollowhead and all other newcomers ... brace yourself for tmi. I don't know what caused it but I trotted to the work loo today, sat down and unexpectedly did the biggest, loudest and l-o-n-g-e-s-t f*rt ever. I was torn between being grateful there was no-one in the other cubicles and wishing there had been someone to be impressed! I confess I stayed where I was and giggled for a while. I've decided my weight loss system is lose, gain, sts, lose, gain, sts, but the losses outdo the gains by about a pound over the 3 week cycle. Slow but sure.
LOL:rotfl:
I'm reading at work, and you actually made me spit my tea out over my keyboard and desk. Thanks for sharing!0 -
Hello all, I'm back!
Couldn't stay away for too long, you lot are a right giggle.
After losing 3lbs last week and gaining 4lbs this, I felt I really needed to get my bum into gear. It is just over 2 months to my holiday so I have decided to set myself a relaistic target.
I pledge to lose 1 stone between now and 19th July. So that is 7lbs each month. Which is completely do-able. I need to do something about this yo-yoing it cannot be good for me in the long run.
Welcome to all the newbies :T This place is great for tips, advice and encouragement. I rely on this place instead of going to group, and it does help.
EE today
B- Muller, apple, mango
L- Smoked salmon salad, lettuce, spring onions, cucumber, radish, bread (B) and light mayo (2). Pineapple and Melon
T- Prawn curry(tomatoes,onions, garlic), grapes
Which leaves me around 10 syns to find before my food curfew at 9pm (I'm trying this today as typically graze from around 9pm until bed)
Plus I will commit to starting back up on the exercise again this evening. I'm really inspired my those tackling the 30day shred. I have it on DVD but have no working player so may well cheat and use You Tube.
Hope everyone is having a good day0 -

Im lighter than I thought I was, may be down to stress though in the past week or 2. Sooo my starting weight is 15st 5 1/2lbs I put my target as 10st but may adjust it 9st 5 1/2lbs so I get the 6st award
Hey you have the same starting weight as me, (and also my consultant I had at the time when I joined - and she looked amazing) I'm now happy to say that I'm just over 2 stone lighter, but still have another 2+ to go.
You've done the hardest part in joing a group, once you get used to all the terminology it will become second nature to you.0 -
Right, own up, who stole my motivation/willpower? Or maybe it got blown away in one of blackberrys gusts:rotfl:

Im home, its the weekend and a lay in beckons tomorrow (although furry alarm clock may scupper lay in plans....)
Catching up with all your posts :j will post back soon :j
unrelated to sw (sorry) but thought I would ask ....
My fridge is far too cold - when I pull out the salad drawer - water leaksand for dinner tonight, I decided to have sausages (1 syn each :T) (they were half frozen!!)
Its been happening for a few weeks now and I'm not really sure what the problem is?
I've googled it tonight and there seems to be mixed opinion about what the problem might be and I am still none the wiser. Does anyone have any ideas? Its a Hotpoint RLA34 that I have. In general terms the fridge is keeping things cold (too cold in fact) and I think the frozen sausages were my fault because I turned the temperature dial up to colder.... Ive put it back to what I think is the lowest setting now?0
