It was quite easy and i enjoyed having the extra hex a & b. I found that i hardly used any syns because i had my fill on main meals & the healthy extras

I find that too! Also, because I know I can just eat the extra HEA/B or snack on a piece of ham or a chicken leg (or mugshot on G) without having to have a chicken leg AND an apple to make it 1/3 SF, I'm more likely to go for the little bit of chicken on R whereas on EE I'd end up just going "sod it!" and having a chocolate bar because it involved less faffing around.

Im going to my first meeting tonight- how much money should I take and what extras would you recommend in terms of books to buy etc? TIA

It should be £14.95 for the books and first class fee. There were vouchers in the mirror at weekend so it will be cheaper if you can get your hands on one of those, think it was free membership so £4.95 for the whole first class.

The are hifi bars that are HEB and are nice, they are usually £2 for a pack of 3 or 6 of the mini ones. They have chocolate on so can be a good way of getting a choccy fix without having to use syns.

The books are pretty good. They are usually under a fiver. I think the best one to start with is "100 extra easy days". It's £3.95 I think and has 100 days already meal planned for you so is good for you to get some ideas of what you can have and how SW days look.

The magazine is cheaper in group so if you want that, get it there. That has a week meal planned for you and loads more recipes and tips.

Have you noticed a difference on 30 day shred in your body yet?

I started about 12 days ago, but I alternate the 30 day shred with banish fat boost metabolism so I think I'm on day 5 of 30 day shred. Have you moved to level 2 yet, I'm thinking about stepping up a level next time I do it, either today or tomorrow. Not decided yet if I'm doing bfbm or 30ds. I find 30ds is over too quickly and I haven't really worked, whereas bfbm I sweat like a beast, I feel like I'm going to die lol

i have noticed my arms feel more firm :D and also my thighs and abs (where were they hiding 6 stone ago!) look more defined. i started level 2 on day 9 i was going to do 10 days on each level but i forgot i was on day 9 and not 10! level 2 def hurts more and i sweat more whereas i think after 9 days on level 1 i was too comfortable on it i haven't tried any of the other 3 dvds....those await me in 17 days ha!

Oh it is believe me. I too cannot stand quark, used it once, cannot even remember what for and it was yuk. Although I bought some last week with the intentions of makine the strawberry cheesecake that is in May/June magazine but would be gutted going to all that effort if it tastes yukky!

i bet its a consultant selling it on too! thats a disgraceful mark up on it. for the money you'd be spending on that one book, you could join SW, get the pack, a proper talk and then only spend another few pounds to buy the book from the class!

Is it definately only £3.95 at class, my friends hubby still goes, even though at target, I might just ask him to get it for me, they are going for silly prices on flea bay as well
Consultant must have a class full of people at target then if they have resorted to selling the books :rotfl:

I've just checked the back of mine and it says £3.50 on it! even better than paying nearly £15 for it! :rotfl:

i think they do it because they know the only choice is to pay the money and go to class or pay a silly price for it.
