When it says 1/3 of plate superfree did i read that someone was doing the day as a 1/3 superfree because i seem to be eating the 1/3 superfree then hardly touching the other stuff on the plate and then in between meals i am eating oranges and apples like they are going out of fashion so i'm worried i'm not enough of of the 'normal' stuff to lose any weight
Todays menu
B porridge and milk
L potato salad
T jacket potato, beans and salad
S: a million oranges and apples
Exercise 30 mins cross trainer day 14 30 day shred- i've got the 4 dvd box set by jillian michaels so once this is over will start on another body torture
I do a 1/3 of each meal superfree so if i've not had much veg with a meal I have some fruit straight after to make it up to 1/3.
Having a bowl of veg soup or some melon for starter counts too.
You should have some fruit with breakfast too.Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud.0 -

Have you noticed a difference on 30 day shred in your body yet?
I started about 12 days ago, but I alternate the 30 day shred with banish fat boost metabolism so I think I'm on day 5 of 30 day shred. Have you moved to level 2 yet, I'm thinking about stepping up a level next time I do it, either today or tomorrow. Not decided yet if I'm doing bfbm or 30ds. I find 30ds is over too quickly and I haven't really worked, whereas bfbm I sweat like a beast, I feel like I'm going to die lol0 -
shellieholly wrote: »Morning Lalamb.:D I am the same, I plan a big shop and then just pop in. I've noticed that my shopping focus has improved along with my weight loss. Like PS71 I hate big shops at T. (as well as hating T for lots of other reasons)
Before SW my shop would be around £90 a week in 3 £30 visits. As you say, you go in for bread and come out with half a trolley of what you didn't need.
I shifted my big shop to Lidl. - I have to go out of my way but my weekly shop comes in at £35 including some alcohol, some living salad because doesn't go rotten before the end of the week! and all the veg and meat etc I need.
With £20 for bits that I can't get in there I am still up in the week by £35.
Does require a lot of planning though! Now I go in to Morrisons/Tescos/Sainsburys/Adsa totally set on what I am there for, (cheap mullers usually!!!) and don't come out with too much.
SW has really turned my bank balance about for the better.
It's great isn't it! My husband was soooooooo impressed with our shopping last month. It definitely keeps you focused and saves a lot of money! When we went to Morrisons at the weekend I got some treats in, like crisps and chocolate. We spent £20 on 2 piddly bags of shopping! It definitely makes a difference to your bill when you don't buy rubbish. Lol@the muller comment! I'm the same now and I never ate yoghurt before SW, I thought I didn't like it! My fridge was jam packed at one point with mullers but I've only got 1 left now and it's cherry which I hate! I have weight watchers ones which are ok but not as fulfilling as a muller, it's Tesco who have the mullers on offer at the minute?0 -

If you are near to goal weight or don't have much to lose it could be that you're sabotaging the plan by eating less. If I remember correctly you haven't been on SW very long so doing SE so early on might not be the right thing for you. Strange as it may seem, sometimes we have to eat more to lose.
I'm a shortie at 5'4 and weigh 9.12 - first target is 9.4, then depending on how I feel 8.11. I did SE because I had totally over done it on Fri night and wanted to refocus myself - and in terms of getting back on plan in my head its really helped as I've regained my focus - but I was wondering if I was eating enough -I've been hungry a couple of times soon after meals which I know isn't good. Think I'll go back to green/EE today.
Also I'm pre menstrual plus haven't 'gone' for a couple of days which could both explain it too.People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

The whole point of SW is that we shouldn't be hungry. Doing SE can psychologically put you into starvation mode - ie. if this is meant to be express then that means I have to eat very little and only fruit and veg - and this isn't the way it should be. The whole point of SW is re-educating us to eat correctly and healthily.
Don't rush it - the slower you lose it the more you change your habits for ever and your body adjusts.

Great idea, you make, i will buy it! in fact....i know a lot of folk who will buy it..blackberry-rum wrote: »back to the discussions about EE/R/G. I tried SW a few years ago and lost nothing using Red and Green, I just got sooooo confused. When I restarted a couple of yrs ago when EE had just started it was a revelation and I had no probs. To be honest, I struggle to remember my one HEB most days on EE, not being a bread lover I just don't get the yearnings. On red and green the only things I'd want as HEBs are free to eat anyway with EE.

I have just done 2 green days, and i feel sooooo fat! i know calories wise, i eat a lot less on green days, having home made soup and either beans or boiled egg and toast, and the really rubbish thing is, today is going to be another green day:mad:When it says 1/3 of plate superfree did i read that someone was doing the day as a 1/3 superfree because i seem to be eating the 1/3 superfree then hardly touching the other stuff on the plate and then in between meals i am eating oranges and apples like they are going out of fashion so i'm worried i'm not enough of of the 'normal' stuff to lose any weight
i always did 1/3 of the day, the consultant was well aware i was doing it, and that was fine with her, and then on the same night i got my 5 stone award, she said the plan was going to be more strict and you had to do one third of you meals SF, i do sometimes make more of an effort to do it that way, tho part of me thinks....if it aint broke..dont fix it!:D0 -

Thank - I know this but its very good to be reminded of it! I've been eating tons volume wise but maybe not enough meat/rice/ pasta etc. My risotto last night was about 1 tablespoon of rice and a panful of veggies! Off to put some extra rice in my chilli bean soup!People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Sometimes we just need to be reminded of the simplest things but yes you do need to be having a balanced dietMediterranean Mum

Lalamb, I can't get quark here but use the equivalent of Phili extra light - just beat in the eggs and seasoning then add some stock to thin it down and then pour over the veggies.Mediterranean Mum
