I suspect my refried beans are utterly inauthentic but basically I tip a can of kidney beans into a pan - draining off some but not all the liquid, add a bit of cumin, coriander, garlic and chiptole paste (or smoked paprika), then whizz with the stick blender and warm through - can add some lime juice in they are a bit thick and some fresh coriander. Lovely cold as dip too

Success Express is basically EE but instead of 1/3 superfree - it is 2/3 superfree and you only snack on superfree

You also get 2 hea and 2 heb, but if you have e.g. a sausage that is 1.5syns on red & EE but 7 on green - you have to use the green value (7)

Does that make sense? There is a meal plan on the website if you can get on - if not i could post one day from meal plan to give the idea!

I'm being rubbish today - out this evening and instead of thinking I will eat really well tody to make up for it I have gone the oppostive and though sod it lets blow the whole day - 8 sys lready whcih is so unlike me.

Had a lovely free chickpea and spinach curry for lunch then spoiled it with a mini crunchie and a meringue! Doh - should have saved those syns for 2 glasses of wine!

Working from home doesn't help - normally I don;t take my purse to work so I can't buy goodies - but here they are freely available!

Think I might Express next week - so with anything not free do you count the highest syn value?

Success Express an older plan that you do if you want a bit of a boost. each meal is 2/3 SF and 1/3 free food on R/G. 2 HEA and 2 HEB a day from the R/G lists and 15 syns. all snacks/starters/desserts that aren't SF or HE must be synned.

So do ou still choose red or green for your frees and HE or cn you have free/ HE from both lists

    Hi everyone,

I am cooking a curry for dinner tonight, my mum has recently started Slimming World so nice to all be supportive and have the same meal and I enjoy cooking new recipes.

I've looked on the Slimming World website and in the 'find a recipe' section, I have found a chicken curry recipe:

    http://www.slimmingworld.com/recipes/chicken-curry.aspx

has anyone tried this recipe and have any reviews?

The other recipe I have found is in the 'free 7 day menu', called Chicken Tikka Masala.

What are peoples views, have you a preference between the two if you've tried them?

    Thanks!

Can I just bump this as not sure how far people look back and also Spicyness isn't a problem :)

you can have them from either list and both together like EE if you want. the most important thing is the 2/3 SF, thats what makes it work.
