That's excellent, very well done. That's a lot of weight to lose, 1 stone is nothing in comparison, it will be easy on SW.
Lots of good advice and recipes here.
    Good luck x x
thank you i started it with the 'you get cashback on quidco' mentality so i didn't think i'd last longer than 3 days it took me 8 months to tell anyone i was on a diet and now i've hit a massive brick wall so want to try something new

Well I had a sh1tty day today, glaring at pc screen trying to compare 3 different databases. They were meant to be the
Hello new people! Someone asked about joining a group, I'd say go for it even if just for a few weeks until you really get the hang of it, otherwise you can be merrily doing things wrong and not realising. Also, some group members are such fun and you do end up caring about them and their little gains and big losses, and they care back - which is nice.

because i did WW online i'm quite anxious about going to a group and know i will probably explode with embarrassment if i gain, i know i've probably put on more than a stone now even though i'm still on plan and on day 8 of 30 day shred because i feel really bloated and yuck but i can't actually face stepping on the scales so think i might go to a class and tell them not to tell me how much i weigh...is that weird?!

I'm going to ask a silly question.

Why do you bake it in the oven and not fry it in fry light, is it just a personal taste thing?

Well done to shelliehollie & everyone with all the great losses this week, too numerous to mention, but you all know who you are.

A special mention to piglet, your doing marvellously well, good luck for your makeover night I'm sure you will shine ( not just orange ) :-)) you really do deserve it.

Piglet - great news about the fashion show. I would ask where it is but wouldn't want to freak you out!!! sounds ilke a fantastic opportunity. I have 4 weigh ins before i go on holiday, next tuesday is my last of my six week countdown. Some thinking to be done regards target.

That would seem rather drastic if it is true! Hey, we could both go to Piglets fashion show and freak her out!
Only kiddin Piglet. I have a morbid fear of anyone I know walking into my group and then telling everyone. I know I should be proud but I am actually embarrased. People say to me " you dont need to lose weight" but becasue I am tall they cant see the extra stone and a half round my middle but I can feel it! It annoys me when I am deemed to be a fraud.

    thank you so much GT!!:A

The fashion show is in Bellinis in Newry Co Down,

it is the hottest ticket in town it seems, with groups not having enough tickets for member to go, etc

only 500 allowed in the room...

i say ONLY.....i will be scared witless :eek:

i was the same arty, i didnt tell anyone i was doing SW, tho i was more scared i would not be able to stick to it and be a failure :o

when i was at it 2 weeks i had 8lbs off and people started to notice,

some people actually noticed how much MORE i had started to eat :D

That would be exactly my reason for not telling people I'm on a diet - they watch everything you eat just waiting to catch you out!

Re the daily mirror post above, has anyone else heard about this ??? Our consultant mentioned about it but originally said it was sat/sun/mon but then said, it was fri/sat/sun. I have picked the mirror up today (after having a good browse in the shop first because there was no free booklet inside) but I still can't see anything. On the website, there is an article about SW - well members stories (dated today) but I can't find this in the paper.
