WI for me this morning and I'm pleased to say I got back into target range.:)

Consultant was telling us that there's a new book coming out soon to tell target members how to maintain. I'll look forward to that, must be lots of ideas if there's a whole book for it!:rotfl:

I'm making ox burgers for dinner tonight and just realised I haven't any yogurt. I'm going to use an egg to bind it instead, I expect it'll be fine.

there is a fashion show being held in a local hotel next friday nite, for a local hospice,

all the models are SW members, some at target, some not, some struggling, some not,

and i have been asked (brow beaten) to model :eek::eek:

its all hair, tan, make up, etc, i didnt have as much fuss for my own wedding,

there are going to be 8 dif SW dishes on the menu as well,

part of me is sooooooooooooo nervous, and the other part....cant wait.

lets hope the big screens are not HD, or wide screen....cause my before pic is....:o:eek::o

That sounds exciting Piglet! I hope you enjoy it.
I have been wondering if there would be any takers at my group for a sort of weekly drop off clinic for clothing to be altered. I am sure many SW
losers cant wait to buy a new wardrobe but many others may maybe cant afford to or have clothes they love that no longer fit.
A few simple alterations where possible and a pound or two in the clubs charity box. Or how about a clothes swap? What would you think?

  • Hi everyone :j

Would you all mind if i jumped on board?

I joined my local slimming world club 5 weeks ago and have lost 6 pounds so far...I know that may not sound a lot but i am mainly housebound and limited on energy due to long term illness (CFS) so have found things quite hard to be honest...but im NOT giving up and using my illness as an excuse not to lose weight and i have really enjoyed eating more salads veg and fruit which i feel is helping me alot.

Look forward to chatting with you all and sharing any tips/inspiration that you may have!

East Belfast, Piglet. I'm a relative newbie and I dont quite have the confidence to approach our dear leader at this stage as how the group is run is up to her, she is great though!

well than maybe approach some of the other members instead? my mum has done this at our group, she was a 26 / 28, and has dropped to an 18, so natually she didnt want to offend anyone :o

so she asked a girl would she like some of her big stuff, the girl said "sure it will be too small.... im a 26 / 28"...and mum said back "what f£$"!^& size did you think i was":rotfl:

i think people forget what you look like with weight ON after a while:D
