Went to my first Slimming World tonight and hoping this is new start in the right direction. Weighed a bit more than I thought I did.

Now trying to decide what I'm going to eat tomorrow (and forever) and looking forward to reading my booklets and through this thread for inspiration.

    Welcome :)

Went out last night and made mainly sw freindly choices but looking a tthe day overall I can see where I shoudl have made better choices. Live and learn and all that.

Worst think about going out was no LO for lunch so there was some panic stricken staring at the fridge this morning....decided on a green day and have humous (HEB) and a big box of raw veg to go with it...

Dinner will be pasta with courgettes and lemon - its alittle like carbonara in that you make the sauce with egg yolk, lemon juice and zest and toss with the hot pasta to cook. Girddle courgettes and toss them through - wil lhave some parmesan as HEA

STS at WI but thats ok - ha da blow out weekend and very PMT-y too

    Not too happy tonight ladies:
    I GAINED  1 pound!
Don't know what happened, but I have struggled with the concept of adding an extra B choice daily. Don't get me wrong I could eat that and a loaf of bread besides but I was thinking if I ate it then I would put weight on.
If anything I have not eaten enough on any day, and I know that you must eat to lose :D so I must live with the consequences and up my food this week.

ahhh, but hey...you still at target, right?:D

i think i will have a gain on tues WI, not cause i have been bad or going MAD eating just cause i got to target:D

but because i am still sure that the big loss last week was somehow just not real,

it was a dehydration / starvation reading after a big nite out, so i have been very good this week to see if i can balance that out, i really want to loose 1bs to get to my 6 stone award, even if that does take me to the maximum 3lbs under target thats allowed,

but i defo dont feel like i am putting myself under the same pressure now:D

    Morning All

Hope you are all doing ok. I ended up giving in & having a kit kat yesterday so total syns for the day was
7.5 & I have now upgraded to level 2 on the 30-day shred. The pork one pot from this months mag was gorgeous, even DH loved it, I had it with chilli cous cous n DH had it with rice.
Well, not my usual berries for brekkie today, the are in a chest freezer in my garage & I discovered that DH has both keys at work, so had to compromise

B – Melon, banana ff yogurt
L – Jacket with tuna & mayo (2 syns), large salad, melon, strawberries
D – Med Mums lovely Mexican bake (HEA)
S – Apple, milk for coffee (2 syns), 2 x alpen lights (HEB) tonight, kit kat or wotsits later perhaps (5.5 syns)
    Total syns 9.5

    Hello.
I survived Bake-Off without going too mental (though in retrospect I feel like I should have been given more cake to try!). The scales this morning show no damage but we all know how these things can catch up with us when we least expect is... so back on plan today.

Can I just say that I'm a little bit in love with Mary Berry (and mel and sue). That is all.
  • I put on a pound this week (on top of the one I put on last week). I'm not at all surprised but now need to get back on track and I'm sitting writing out menus for the weekend and next week so that I can shop this evening.

I know if I wasn't checking in here every day the damage would be far greater so thanks everyone for just being here and hopefully I'll be joining the losers again soon.
