    Drum roll please!!

After my disappointment last week ... I was soooo good but somehow I gained half pound...
Well... This week has MORE than made up for it!

I had my biggest week EVER!! I lost 5lbs...

I lost 5lbs bfore when I booked a holiday wk so that was 5lb in 2wks
But this was my biggest single week ever!

And it took me 2lbs under my new target!! Yippeee..

Thing is... That's a total loss of 5stone 13, so I do wanna get that other pound off for my 6 stone award
But I was soooooo happy to get my target member badge!

    Well done you!

WI tonight so we shall see how it goes...... I've done 3 days of ff, but yesterday was really tough so today will be EE.

Bowel issues have resolved (thankfully) but hormone ones still remain....

Good luck to all weighing in today...

Fab work piglet! You must be so proud and rightly so.

Beef teriyaki recipe is a made up one :/ basically equall amounts of soy and mirin and some ginger - marinate rump steak in the mixture then griddle the steak, reduce the marinade down til its thick, slice the steak and pour over the marinade. If can't get mirin use dry sherry and sugar. I had to guess syns based on sherry as mirin not in the book.

    B fruit and yog
L pasta salad with roasted veg and pesto (3)
D mash, veg and low fat sausages (2)
    S banana, pear
People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

    Hello everyone

well I have decided to join SW this evening

I am currently about 20st 7lb, I was 21st at my heaviest and heading there again , I did lose 6s stone in 2005 but due to a lot going on in personal life I came off my diet again and put the 6 plus more back on again .

I have probably tried every diet going and always seem to give up after a few weeks.

I have been really impressed by 2 people I know who have lost 3 stone and 3.5 stone in SW so thought I would give it a try.

    Doe

Welcome Doe and good luck on your journey. Put the number out of your head and just think of the positive - you're now going to be eating super healthily and losing weight as well. Don't fret about how much because overall you'll be going in the right direction. Not sure if you have health issues but one thing I noticed (I was close to your starting weight) was that my blood work changed enormously with only one stone off.
(baby in arms ... excuse typos)
hello Doe. When I joined I was nearly 20 stone - and that was after losing some prior to. I'm now 2 stone lighter in just 10 weeks. It can be done, if you want it to be 'done'
Thank yu for the tip flat eric, not thought of that. Not in the same camp as you, would hate to ruin a weeks work with one meal. not worth it in my opinion. though i do get jealous watching my family scoff deep-filled pies with inch deeep pastry .. i miss those

I'm at my best when I'm out eating because I have this need to be perfect in front of people who are watching me eat - I don't want them to have any reason to sit there and say "wow no wonder she's so fat, look what she's eating". By that token I should eat out every day and every meal!!!
I am currently trying a new tactic. All my syns the day before Weigh In are going to be healthy extra Bs in an effort to avoid the dreaded "can't poo on WI day" syndrome. It's having some effect; I had to open the car window a tad on a longish journey today. At journey's end people were asking why it was open. I said it had got a bit hot in there :rotfl: actually it was rancid I am ashamed :rotfl:

OMG BR you crack me up - and yes, completely identify!!!

Oh - does anyone have any idea on how to syn a home made (fill the dinner plate) sized pasty? I know I shouldn't and I doubt I will but home made pasties it is at the weekend and one is being made for me ......

Oh and whilst on the subject of bad food, got family coming round on fri eve for tea. Going to do something easy, breaded chicken (need to check syns/have chicken that doesn't have the breadcrumbs) but re desert, what can I do that is naughty but low syn ??

Don't do it FE - why are you putting those temptations in front of yourself. Be selfish and think of yourself first and you know what the healthier stuff is better for your family and guests too. Why don't you just do a roast chicken dinner with SW roast potatoes?

Are the sharon fruit not in season now, Medmum? They're over here. I do envy you when you can get them so easily.

Totally out of season unfortunately but watermelon has replaced them in my house! Going through them like they're going out of fashion!
