  • Well today picked up - managed to get to the shop at lunch time and get some apples, yay! Feel happier now I've got some SF to snack on :-)

Also, has anybody else seen this on the NHS website? Couch to run 5k in nine weeks, thought it could be useful for anyone else who wants to get their fitness levels up :-)

Just been on the nhs bmi calc, apparantly, I could be as low as 7st 4lb and still be in the 'healthy' range!!!

I think I was about 12yr old the last time I weighed that lol.

Is everyone aiming for 'healthy bmi' or are you aiming for weight, or even clothes size?

If I went anywhere near my "Healthy" BMI (9 stone some) I'd be so top heavy it would be unatural.
I've an interim target of 15 stone - when I get there I'll have a think on where I want to be for sure, I'm aiming for a 12-14. I have naturally MASSIVE hips - which is fortunate considering my bra size :D should I loose enough to have that curvy hourglass. But because of those boobs, and those hips a slinky 10 is forever beyond me.

Flat Eric. I'd do as others have suggested. Take a holiday - no lost money that way. Food is a mean thing. The more you stress about it, the more you want it. The more you avoid it, the more often it finds ways to put itself into your path.
I could always make excuses to eat when I was down. I was cold. I was sad. I was bored. I was hungry. House was a mess. I couldn't cope...
Eh.. I was actually suffering from depression. :o
I knew I needed to stop, but couldn't. It took alot of things for me to grapple with that particular dragon. Find you. Find what makes you you, and work to claim that you back. - It's what I was told. Took me another few months to figure out what "you" I was. This social script that we are sold by advertisers can really mess with your head.
Always here if you want to talk Flat Eric - pm any time.

Well done on the losses this morning/yesterday that I missed. Hope those that gained enjoyed themselves :rotfl:
On a constant quest for my happy weight here, I managed to have a large glass of wine last night and stay undersyn. Goal. Milk free day paid off. Hubby nicked my pitta pizza.... so we shall be having milk free days more often :T
Today I am aiming to stay beneath 5 syns. Not for any other reason than it keeps your eye on the proverbial ball. You're more aware of what your eating. Tonight it's cottage pie with sweet potato/butternut/swede/carrot mash (root mash I should say eh?) and a whole heap of greens. Lunch was a very warming jacket potato with cottage cheese and yummy salad - syn count for the balsamic vinegarette though I think. Loving beetroot at the minute. Really hitting that sweet craving :D

  • Need to buy some fat free yogurts too, only got 1 muller left - are there any others that are free like muller lights? The low fat shape ones are nice but don't know how many syns they are, will have to try and check at lunchtime....

Danone activia Snack Pots 0% fat ones. NOT the intensely creamy, peach or honey versions.
Only one I can find at the minute is strawberry, but there is Raspberry and vanilla that I know of out there somewhere too. SO much creamier and thicker than the muller-lights. lush. - And cheap cheap cheap at morrisons right now too :D - Muller lights are half price for 6 multipack at tesco though.

The peach activia's aren't free:eek: I have been counting them as free:doh:How many syns are they please, I have 2 left so want to make sure I syn them now!
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.

I've had a right moochy hungry day so far.....

    B - mullerlight; banana; satsuma
    S - Sw quiche, pear
L - jersey tatties, salad (lettuce, carrot, cabbage, mange tout, tomatoes & spring onions), 2 laughing cow light triangles (part HEA); mullerlight with cherry layer (1.5syns); banana
S - banana, 2 ryvita (HEB) with 1 laughing cow light triangle (part HEA); mullerlight; space raiders (3.5 syns)

    .... what a piggy!
I'm finding it really different eating my syns each day rather than seeing them as naughty and not eating them; I thought I would try it this way unless I know I have a night out planned where I need to save syns
ETA - the bananas are just wee ones!

I've been 100% off plan! But I finally finished my exams!!! It's weird, I guess I have a degree now I'd better get a real job.
Will be back on plan from Monday.

Hope everyone is well, not read the thread for a week or so as I've been snowed under with uni work.

    Good morning

My stash of Mullerlights is starting to run low now the 5 for £1 offer is no more at Morrisons but they do have the Weight Watchers packs of 4 for 75p, I believe they are free? Please correct me if I'm wrong though. I love the mullerlights, only tried the lemon and lime weight watchers one so far and it was quite nice.....I bought the citrus pack, going to stock up on the other selections later today.

Edited to add: just noticed on Tesco they have the mullerlights packs of 6 at half price only £1.64 yay!
I love the WW citrus yoghurts. The pink grapefruit one tipped over a bowl of actual pink grapefruit and some raspberries is quite possibly the most delicious breakfast EVER! :D They are nice frozen too, and don't take as long as the Mullers, about an hour should do it.

    Well done!

I have had a superdooper good day (and yesterday) since I gave myself a talking to
except for a massive BLIP involving something beginning with C and ending with ATE. I am going to ban myself from syns for the rest of the weekend as a penance because I am a P.I.G. no doubt about it.
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
