I had a nosey online with asda and they have slimming world tubs.. strawberry or chocolate flavour. I am sure it said milkshake.
I know that toning my tummy wont get rid of the fat, but is something I need to do whilst losing iygwim. I need to lose the weight first. I just want to lose it in a healthy way. I know I will probably lose weight in others areas aswell as my stomach, but am working on toning other areas to, to ensure I am healthy.

I had a look on asda and the only slimming world I could find was the magazine. Are you sure it wasn't slimfast? They do shakes & bars. Slimming world bars are NOT meal replacements but more like snacks and are usually called healthy extras.
Not sure what you are looking for I'm afraid, sorry :o

Sorry for this, hadn't seen the other posts.

Gettingthere can I just say......pick a colour and stick with it .........its doing my head in pmsl
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

I am a scale hopper, I know I should wait to WI, but I cannot help it. The scales are in the kitchen and when I walk past they seem to call my name, so on I get. I know my scales were out to the SW one, (1/2 stone lighter at home! Always keep them in same place etc) but today they said I had gained 1lbs so feeling a little fed up off I went to weigh in thinking that yes I'd had a good week but was expecting a gain.

Much to my delight at WI I had actually lost 2lb and I have received my half stone award.

When I got home I thought I'd just see if the scales were the half stone out that I thought they were. This time it showed a 3lb loss !!!

Valuable lesson learned I will only get weighed at SW. I have thrown broken scales in bin, I will resist temptation to buy new scales. :o

Well hark at all these people getting to target:j Well done each and everyone of you, you're all a real inspiration.

I weighed in at my mums house and as expected have put on 4lbs :( but after the bodge of at group last week I'm not going to get down hearted about it and am going to use this to fuel my fire.

I have set myself a mini target of 2lbs this will take me down into the next stone and 6lbs away from my original target.

Food shopping will be tomorrow where I will stock up on sw friendly food, and I will be looking for a replacement sf food to replace my peas :( may have to go back and read my book again.

Thank you for the kind words, I don't know if I would have been able to give up group so easy if I hadn't have found this thread. Even though I don't know any of you, I find you all much more inspirational then the people I know in RL in group. And so very helpful! I look forward to getting my image therapy the :money: way!

Very well done on your latest loss, your an inspiration :j

P.S. how much have you lost total?
How long did it take you?
Have you struggled with the maintaining?
Any tips and advice would be welcome! :D

Thank you but I didn't want to lose this week!:( I lost almost 3.5 stones and it took me just under 11 months. I know it's not as much as many of you are aiming for (or have acheived:T) but I took it really slowly. My best advice has got to be PLAN, PLAN, PLAN! That includes a flexible meal plan that fits around your lifestyle and the shopping list to match. I am struggling to maintain but in a good way I suppose. I keep falling below target and that's because the SW Healthy Eating plan has become the way I eat. It's been 9 months now and I still haven't worked out enough extras to keep me at target.

I did the same and never replaced our scales when they broke. If you don't go to a class then I'd just go into Boots or visit a relative!

Sorry you're feeling down flateric, we'd certainly miss you posting. I think you know yourself where you go wrong. It's like I said earlier, you seem to have a hectic lifestyle and then end up grabbing the wrong stuff. You know you'll feel so much better when the weight starts coming off and your lovely clothes fit. It just has to be worth a bit of planning.

FIrstly very well done to GETTINGTHERE - definitely not a cheat! same goes for PIGLET, Great results. CYCLINGYORKIE - am interested to know how you get on with FF.

I envy you all cos I'm still struggling to get back within the target range (5lb still to go) and really wish that I had NOT set a target.

As I have said before I do the weighing in at our group and, although I ask newbies if they want to set a target, I always make it clear that they really don't have to and can call target whenever they feel that they want to.

I really wish that I had been told that when I started because I might not be in this position now. I am worried that even if I can get back within target range that I might not be able to maintain (I couldn't before).

    Sorry to be a moaner ! x

    Good morning

My stash of Mullerlights is starting to run low now the 5 for £1 offer is no more at Morrisons but they do have the Weight Watchers packs of 4 for 75p, I believe they are free? Please correct me if I'm wrong though. I love the mullerlights, only tried the lemon and lime weight watchers one so far and it was quite nice.....I bought the citrus pack, going to stock up on the other selections later today.

Edited to add: just noticed on Tesco they have the mullerlights packs of 6 at half price only £1.64 yay!

Some good losses, well done xx
lalamb, good positive thinking, well done x

((hugs)) Flat eric xxx Can you take a few weeks holiday from group, say 3wks and see how you get on? That way you can see how you feel, whether you can go it alone/or want to, but without actually commiting to leaving as you can always return on week 4 and carry on as normal :)

I really need to keep off the scales midweek as the flutuations are driving me mad and I was very tempted just to say forget the whole thing after seeing a 2lb gain this morning!!!!
Thankfully I have given myself a talking too and am staying on track :)

    Green day
B - Weetabix, Milk (heA, heB)
    L - Egg salad
D - mushroom fried rice (olive oil heB)

Snacks/extras - crunchy (9.5), activia, banana, milk (heA)

    Total 2 A's, 2 B's, 9.5 syns.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.
