Hi CH27 - if you've joined SW they give you a pin number so you can join the website, there's syn calculators on their (you can do it diff ways, either by searching for the product or by typing in it's information etc).
Note: the pin number should be towards the back of your SW food optimising book :-)Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world!

I have been looking on the SW website and they still say that Asda Chosen by You wholemeal pitta breads are a HE choice on EE and Original. Co-op ones are there as well. x0

I am sure I have some pork in the freezer I will tell OH to take out just now & bung that in, I like meat in my SF, not a lover of fish sauce so will miss that out, I have chinese 5 spice & everything else, are all the noodles beansprouts free??
BTW - I have always counted WM pitta as HEB, Its usually Asda or Tesco I get them, is this wrong??? I always wondered why book specifically said Co-op Pittal:eek::eek:
I make my stir-fry sauce with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, chopped chillis and a bit of stock if it's not 'wet' enough. Sometimes I add 5 spice (I will today cos you reminded me;)). I marinate my meat in the sauce first. We like Batchelors Golden rice with it. I throw in any vegetable I can find around the cupboards, fridge or freezer. So the meal is at least two thirds superfree and completely free!!0 -

Eek, two hours til WI. Don't know why but I feel particularly nervous about this evenings, last week I felt "excited", if that makes sense!! Fingers crossed for a loss.
Not sure what do for dinner tonight - did the SW pizza on Saturday and it was actually very yum!! May have to do a stir fry this week.Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world!

good afternoon!
welcome to all newbies and congratulations to all losers! :T
I am having another great day! :j
B was banana and strawberries,
snack was starbucks latte(I am counting them as my HE whatever the 'rules' say, I can't see how they have more syns if it's just milk and espresso) and alpen light
L was smoked salmon and avocado salad(I did go for it in the end, used half which was 90g so 9 syn but well spent I guess), activia 0% and apple
snack: an orange, another coffee with 200ml ss milk and 2 alpen lights(this is my greatest achievement as when I finish work early I normally come home and have a coffee and HAVE to munch on some choc so saving my AL bars for it)
D will be a veggie "shepherd's" pie which I will start cooking shortly, it's made with butternut sq. and lentils and other veg and the non-SW version I cooked for LO was lovely(just had a small bite), hope mine will be too
So that's 3 days in a row I am being extra good and I like it! I feel much better when I don't pig outHope it will show by the next WI
I will also cook some veg soup tonight for lunches/snacks and lots of fish during the week as I have a freezer fullI'm another lb down.
Been trying to making sw freindly choices this weekend but took the kids out for lunch yesterday and totally forgot that I was being sensible til half way through a dish of prawn crackers- opps!
I usually do green days but going out on Tues for steak so having a red day - any suggestions for a red lunch thats easy to take to work?
I do mostly Red now and take a salad with me(today was smoked salmon, avocado-synned!, lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, sweetcorn, etc.) or a veg soup(no potatoes/parsnip) to have with toasti made the syns free lemon meringue from the thread on here,
and tho the base was lovely (quark, fomge frais, lemon rind and juice)
the meringue was very disappointing, flat etc.
we are blaming the sweetner, not being as course as sugar, so not holding the peaks so well, we used a copy of canderelle from lidl,
any one have a better sweetner in mind, splenda, canderelle etc?
I made them once with T's own suracolose(sp?) based sweetner and while they weren't as hard as they are when made with sugar they weren't flat...
Hope everyone is having a good day :A0
