    Hi All

Been MIA last week but I am back, only lost 0.5lb last week, I will be starting the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred DVD today to see how I go with that, not looking forward to it, I imagine my body will ache in places I never knew existed. I got beansprouts, egg noodes & white noodley things from Asda & they need to be used up, any ideas anyone on what I can do with them? I have loads of veg in the fridge as well, so looking for dinner ideas for tonight????

Stir fry! make a sauce with soy sauce, grated ginger, lime, fish sauce, dash of sweet chilli sauce. We do this all the time and it's fabulous. Add coriander over the top at the end. It's about 1 or 2 syns depending on how much sweet chilli you put in.

As it has been a few years since i did SW and I only have 'out of date' books could someone please advise of any mistakes in my meal plans please xx

    Green.
    B - Crunchy nut cornflakes & milk. (5.5, heA)
L - Cheese and onion omlette and beans. (heA)
    D - Spaghetti bolongese.

Need some snacks too, so will get some yoghurts and bananas.

I am using minced lamb for my spag bol, is this a heB or syns please. There will be 300g of mince in the dish in total.

Also am I right in hearing that tomato puree is now free?

    TIA xxx

On that note I'm trying to have a green day and I wonder if some kind person can tell me if this is alright - I'm not sure whether a pitta bread is one HEB or two.

B: low fat yog, plum, grapes, 1 tsp honey (1 syn)
    S: banana
L: Pitta bread (HEB x1? or 2?) with 30gfat reduced Hummus (HEA?) and salad, Muller light
S: Kellogs fibre plus bar (HEB2)
D: mushroom risotto with parmesan (HEA)

PLus extra fruit for snacks. ANd can we still have mugshots for free on green? Not that I think I'll need it.

which pitta bread is it? only a certain few count as HEB, the others are synned. if its one of the ones counted it will be one HEB.

mugshots are a green free food, some of them have a syn value thug, the thai one is 0.5 and the cheese is synned too.

Thanks evil squid. I think it's a sainsburys wholemeal pitta. I shall be counting it as an HEB whatever they say! Is is right to count hummus as an HEA?

the only one they mention in the book is the co-op wholemeal ones.

sorry i missed that one! houmous is a green HEB only. you can have 35g of plain, 40g of lemon & coriander or roasted red pepper, 50g of reduced fat lemon & coriander or roasted red pepper or 55g of reduced fat plain. HEA is just milk and cheese.

if you are on the old books, a lot of the HEs have changed, especially the values, most have been rounded up. theres a big post i did somewhere in either this thread or the old one with all the changes from the old books to the new ones.

it just says 85g raw/60g cooked of lamb is a Green HEB in the book.
lamb mince is listed as 9.5 syns per 100g for less than 16% fat and more than 16% fat is 12.5. its only 2 syns on EE so your prob better upping the SF and having an EE day.

tomato puree is now free, as are other veg purees like garlic and ginger puree provided there is no extra added oil. all the "jelly" stock pots that used to be synned are now free too.

I am sure I have some pork in the freezer I will tell OH to take out just now & bung that in, I like meat in my SF, not a lover of fish sauce so will miss that out, I have chinese 5 spice & everything else, are all the noodles beansprouts free??

BTW - I have always counted WM pitta as HEB, Its usually Asda or Tesco I get them, is this wrong??? I always wondered why book specifically said Co-op Pittal:eek::eek:
