Well I made the mushy pea curry for lunch and although I have to admit it didn't look appetising, it was delicious. I had it with cold left over mashed tatties - yes I know I'm a minger!

I'm also having a crack at the jalfrezi recipe that someone posted earlier in the thread (Lalamb?) - it smells lush but I really should know better than to rub my eyes after chopping green chillis - doh!

Hello all, and welcome flowerclipper I'm a fairly new poster here as well, but I must say I think the support on this board is fabulous it is just like having 24/7 image therapy. There is always someone on hand to answer any questions, or give you a kick up the backside if needed :rotfl:

Well what a miserable weekend, it has not stopped raining here and the wind has been howling all day and night :( Roll on summertime for more drier weather I hate the rain.

I would just like to announce... I have not had Pepsi Max for over 24hours  I went shopping at the weekend and brought myself several bottles of fizzy water in an assortment of flavours. Med Mum what you said has really stuck in my head so I know fizzy water still isn't great but I'm thinking its a step in the right direction, plus its a hell of a lot cheaper than pepsi max so :money: would be pleased!

Been good all weekend, enjoyed a lovely home made pork curry last night, and have had enough to freeze off another 2 portions. I'm been munching on melon and strawberries when I felt peckish and managed some more time on the Wii :T

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend despite the awful weather.

Someone wanted the satay recipe here it is ...

    For the sauce:
3 tbsp reduced fat peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
    120ml water
    1/2 garlic clove crushed
    1 tbsp sweetener
    1tbsp dark soy sauce
1tbsp very low fat fromage frais

Id say half the water tho all i done was top boneless chicken thighs with the sauce and bake... and turn half way through lush!!

hmm the rest of the week will need to be a SE week i think, had a roast dinner tonight which was fine except for the yorkie pudding and the bit of cauliflower cheese,... oh and the fact that ive sabotaged myself with a fat cookie from mr M and S :o

hmm tomorrows lunch... need to think of something i can pack in a box that will keep. and that i can cram alot of SF into...i actually need to go to mr T or mr A's to buy more veggies - all i have is celery, onions and cherry tomatoes left.

    any suggestions?
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
