Apart from rotting your teeth and putting an inordinate amount of sugar in your body (not a good thing), there's nothing wrong with it Becks!

    LMAO :rotfl: thanks Med Mum

    Good morning.

I've come on to confess all my syns.... :(

I had a packet of handcooked crisps from Sainsburys last night, one of the 100g bags, and I had a Wispa, and 2 french fancies :o:o:o.........once I started I thought what the hell!!! Feel disgusted with myself, having spent 4 weeks away from that kind of thing and I succumb to it at a moment of weakness!

No point crying about it though, it's done now, I will carry on back on plan today and the rest of the week to get these lbs off!

Thank goodness the (working) week is over; seemed incredibly and at times was really bizarre! Yesterday was so long and stressy.

I was out last night with friends for a Thai banquet (a pre-ordered set menu). I had worried how I would manage the food but in the end it wasn't too bad. I didn't have any of the starter or nibbles :j and stayed away from the red thai curry & spicy chilli beef . Had the Jasmine rice, 2 dessert spoons of chicken pad thai, a prawn and some veg (minus most of the sauce) from another curry & 2 small slices of grilled pork fillet. Hopefully not too many syns. And as the day had been so difficult I hadn't time to have my lunch until 5pm anyway!

Not sure what today will bring yet; the weather is dreadful here but am hoping to go for a good walk later.

    Have a good day.:D
  • Hi all

After months of dithering I have bitten the bullet and joined up online. There is a class just over the road from me on a Thursday but I have been there before and I fell out with the class leader so vowed never to go back. I had been a member of weightwatchers which I also think is a good diet but I got fed up. Also I tend to eat lots of nutritionally poor food on WW and am hungry quite a lot of the time. I want to eat healthily and lose weight into the bargain so I'm giving SW a whirl. To be truthful I have found it quite faffy to do in the past but I know at least I need never be hungry. I'm signed up for 12 weeks which takes me quite nicely up to my holiday and I'd like to have lost 2 stone by then. Not sure if it is doable though but I'll give it a damn good try. I need to lose 4 stone overall.

I have lots of veg that needs using up in my fridge. I can't make up my mind whether to make a sausage casserole tomorrow, or a chilli?

Whats the vote ? The veg I have to use up includes carrots/aubergines/red onions/courgettes/peppers/spring onions/cucumber! I also have a pack of stir fry veg that I was meant to have for tea last night but didn't.

Casserole - comfort food for the dreadful weather.
Maybe use the stir fry veg as a filling for an omlette. Scrummy!
  • I made a gorgeous satay chicken for any peanutty fans out there last night simple and stunning for a change, also really enjoying these red days and bloating has eased no end but saying that it always does when on plan properley...

Weather is grey and wet here again but not going to let that put me off going for another 100% planned day !!!

Eric id say a nice casserole with the veg and maybe stuffed peppers and salad with the saladdy bits, fresh stirfry ive given up buying as i throw it out all the time so i buy the frozen pack now ....

Have a fab day all xxx

It's a glorious day here (S Scotland) so I might get out into the gardening and do a bit of weeding today. DS (age 21 months) has a temperature and is "hingy" but hopefully once the calpol kicks in he might release his grip on my leg and I can get stuff done!

I made a chilli last night for myself & DH and it was v good. DH likes chilli made with a packet of the schwartz hot chilli mix and seeing as he is normally very good eating SW-ed meals I made it with the mix last night adding loads of onions, red peppers, kidney beans to the extra lean mince. It was only 5.5syns for the whole chilli though and I ate about 1/3 of it so I'm counting 2 syns for it - I needed 2 Mullerlight coconut greek yoghurts to cool my burning mouth afterwards though (2x0.5 syns).

Have a good weekend everyone. x
