3lb down for me this week - really delighted and I know I've earned it as I've been 100% on plan all week and have done a lot of walking.

It's independence day here today so we're off out with friends for a BBQ this afternoon. Really hoping that I can stay on plan and stick to chopped salad and chicken kebabs followed by watermelon. Planning on having a sandwich on the way so that I'm not starving hungry by the time we get eating the BBQ! I'm estimating 10 syns for the BBQ just to cover me for any oil or whatever in the salad as I'm not in charge of the food.

Well done on a great loss!

Have a fabulous time at your BBQ later on today. I can't wait for our summer to arrive - as I love bbqs all that fresh salad and marinated meats :D

    Thanks kandfsmam,
your good at recipes and plans, what can I eat along with 2/3 superfree for the success express?
I want to be super dooper good and lose some more next week, I gotta get my goal before I go to Florida.
    ta xx

How about SW"quiche"? 6 eggs mixed with a tub of FF cottage cheese (I use Tesco value stuff), salt & pepper and whatever filling you fancy. mix the whole lot together and put it in a flan dish in the oven at gas 6 for 30 mins or until it's set & going golden brown.

I did mushroom, onion & tomato with a tiny sprinkle of grated cheese on the top last night; Have it with a big salad. You get 6 big slices out of a mix (or 12 wee skinny slices).

1lb down :) not much but exceedingly happy its not a sts or gain considering everything! 10lb off in total.

Dinner last night was mexican - burritos for the family with pulled pork - I had a little pork (HEB2), loads of salsa, some chipotle kidney beans and rice with dry fried peppers and onions and ff yog instead of sour cream- burrito in a bowl! have the left overs for lunch. Love that I have just change out a few things but effectively eat like everyone else - makes me know that its sustainable long term :) Now if it had been tacos I might not have manage such restraint.

I'm doing this without a group - how do I decide what my target is...I'm dithering between 'ideal world' (ie when i was 20 before kids lol) and what is probably more realistic/ sustainable....
Son is making sausage rolls at school today - bless him he's making his own puff pasty and everything! Kids will have those with beans for tea and I'll do pasta I think.

    Morning all,

Wow, more losses, great news! CY, GT and Piglet, it's fab to hear that you've all lost so much, gives me hope! :p

TIE - hope you're feeling better. Did you find out what was causing it?

I went slightly over syns last night as had some noodles with my stir fry (red day) which were 6 syns- total of 15.5 but since I don't normally go over 10 a day I'm not overly worried. Another disorganised day today :o tonight will be first quiet night in this week though so should be slightly better tomorrow!

    Today's plan- green:
B: Bran flakes (HEB), milk (HEA), banana
L: Mushroom savoury rice (0.5), quorn sausage (1), pear
T: TBC but probably jacket spud, beans, cheese (HEB), salad
S: Strawberries, mullerlight (didn't eat yesterday), Rocky (5.5)

    :)

How about getting to 'realistic' and see how you feel there? Might want to go a bit further or might be perfectly happy there. Wouldn't take any notice of the ideal weight charts, sounds like not many other people on here do either, and rightly so! :rotfl:

What height are you Rachbc? The books give an ideal range depending on height - ie BMI.

At 5'7 my "ideal" range is 9st 3 - 11st 5. As I started at 17st 13lb  my initial aim was just to get my club 10 then take it at half a stone at a time as otherwise it seemed like a huge mountain but secretly I hoped to get to under 15st.

Now that I am on the "journey" and finding it really workable and livable (currently 15st 4) I am thinking of setting my next interim target of 13st with an ultimate target of 11st 7lb which is still above my "ideal" band but a hell of a lot healthier than 17st 13lb! :o

    I'm 5'4.

I've just got into the 'healthy' bmi range - I'd like to get to BMI of 21/22. I'm nearly 40 and know my metablosih etc and slower than when i was 20....

I don't have huge amounts to loose but figured now was the time to tackle things before it got ore out of contol - I've seen my mum struggle so much with her weight and she is now morbidly obese and I figured prevention was better than cure!
