im thinking my final weight should maybe be around 10.5st -ish... im 5'9, but my top half is now around a 12-14, but my lower half is still a 14, hopefully i will lose something tomorrow, but at the minute as of last WI im 12st 10
I'm 5ft 9 and my target was 10.5st. That makes me a small 12 or a 10 in some stores/styles. It's what I remembered being most of my adult life until various things conspired to make me put on weight in last 10 years:mad: I'm happy at this weight and don't want to go any lower.
I set my target at my first meeting. Is this usual?kandfs_mam wrote: »Well done gettingthere!! x

I am dead chuffed, lost another two and a half pound, got my 5 and a half stone award, total loss now stands at five stone eight and a half pound, and then the cream on the top was I won SLIMMER OF THE MONTH! :j:D:rotfl:;)
That's fantastic, very well done xx0 -
Can't remember who but someone was saying about rules concerning having to add syns if you didn't use your healthy extras. I have asked our consultant tonight and she said that she knows nothing about it. Others in our group said they thought you had to syn as well but she was adamant that it was rubbish
Has anyone else asked consultants?
Just a half off for me this week, I don't think I'll ever get back into target range, need another 6lbs. xx0 -
Take It Easy, do go and see a doctor, as Getting There has pointed out the symptoms you have described may point to heart trouble. Please let us know.
Well done Gettingthere on your loss. You are ...getting...there
Good luck to everyone with weigh-in's today.
Mine was last night...and despite having two meals out, two pub trips, * week and several wanders into coffee shops...I am happy to announce that I am 2lb lighter than I was last week:eek:
And SLIMMER OF THE MONTH TOO!:D
Can't help with the syning of healthy extras. I think you only syn count the EXTRA you use if that makes sense.0 -

Well done Gettingthere, keep going...TakeItEazy wrote: »Having an odd experience at the moment, woke up this morning to fingers feeling swollen ie tight skin & pins & needles in right finger tips. Fingers hurt when making fists. This feeling has lasted all day and still tight and tender even now. Have no idea what's causing it but if it's same tomorrow then will ring Dr. Backs of legs are tingling too, very irritating
TIE I often get that and I've been told it's a sign of blood sugar being too high. Over the month that I was so bad and put a ton of weight back on all of those symptoms came back again. It's a lot better now but I still have a little bit of finger tingling. Last night I ate a high sugar snack and I had the finger tingling this morning! Do get it checked out though.Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
3lb down for me this week - really delighted and I know I've earned it as I've been 100% on plan all week and have done a lot of walking.
It's independence day here today so we're off out with friends for a BBQ this afternoon. Really hoping that I can stay on plan and stick to chopped salad and chicken kebabs followed by watermelon. Planning on having a sandwich on the way so that I'm not starving hungry by the time we get eating the BBQ! I'm estimating 10 syns for the BBQ just to cover me for any oil or whatever in the salad as I'm not in charge of the food.
26-Apr-12 Thursday
b/fast HEA vegetable frittata with 2 eggs & 45g mozzarella
snack HEB sandwich with smoked turkey breast, lettuce, cucumber
lunch 10 chicken kebabs, mixed salad, watermelon
snack fruit
dinner 2 baked potato, baked beans, coleslaw (1 tblspn light mayo), tuna & cornMediterranean Mum

Will add to all the losses this week with a little pound am very pleased as now ahead of myself again after the gain a few weeks back. Also now under the 55lbs mark, every little helps. Four and a half pounds to go forthe one stone and then I can buy another Pandora bead for me bracelet.
Everyone raves about baked bean lasagne in group. Me and my mate always laugh at the thought of it, anyway I made it for us both for lunch yesterday, truly scrummy delicious. Have any of you peeps tried it? Bit windy under the duvet tho last night :rotfl:
Am hoping for another good week. Well done everyone, some great losses :TTotal weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0
