Ive given up n fluffed it all again 2 fab weeks and fallen off the wagon how the heck I managed to lose 6 stone is beyond me cos im completely stuck now .... anyone have a mojo for me ???

Falling off the wagon now and then is ok. It's only a problem if you don't get right back on.

I saw a quote on minimins to paraphrase: giving up on your diet because you ate one bad thing is like dropping your mobile phone on the floor accidentally but then jumping up and down on it til it's good and broken.

You have come too far to just give up. Take a day at a time, if you really must have extra just count it in as flexi syns, don't just go mad.
Think of how much work you have put into losing the 6 stone, the sacrifices you have made, the willpower you had then, and the willpower you have got now, its just hidden a little bit :D

Tomorrow morning, start as you mean to go on.
Plan all your meals in advance, get rid of the foods you are more likely to snack on, after all if they are out of sight they will be out of mind!
Tell yourself you can and will do it.
Cos you can, your a star!!
Now pull yourself together karen ( and I mean that in a nice way !) Get your act together!
We are all in this together, we have our ups and downs, our moans and groans, but week after week we all have a story to tell.
Good luck and remember you can do it!!!!:A

Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!

or to put it another way - if you have a lovely bunch of 21 flowers ( representing 3 meals a day for a week) you don't throw them all out if one or two stems die do you?

On the popcorn and banana post above:

I was a bit baffled as to why eating a banana is free, cutting it up is free, but mashing it and mixing it in with "muller light ice cream" or yogurt isn't?!

If its free if you cut it up and have it on cereal , then with a muller it's free, consultant told us cooking it makes syns, and juicing cause it takes several oranges to make a glass of juice, but you would be unlikely to eat several!

Well done to all the losers tonight!

I've had the day from hell, and am a tad emotional tonight. For the first time in months I can't stop thinking about the Ex and it is making me :( and wanting to eat my weight in food!

I've polished off a 'treat' :rotfl: size bag of Maltesers so have written the whole day off. So much for week 1!

Think I might just go to bed and start again tomorrow, and hope I haven't thrown the whole week off. I WI in Thursday so think I've probably blown it.

Congratulations on your loss! Some posters just put the yogurt in the freezer for a while and say it makes a good ice cream substitute for a snack. Hopefully someone who's tried it will be along soon.

i stuck my yoghurt in the freezer and it darn near broke my spoon. i had to lift it out and let it 'melt' for a half hour before i could get my spoon into it... though if you were to make an ice lolly out of it, it would work better. dont get me wrong, it was loooovely, but quite simply a brick.

WI on thurs.. i hope to have lost 1.5lbs maybe 2... before dinner i had a sneaky weigh in on my scales, and it said 12st 9 1/4lbs which is normally 3/4 - 1lb heavier than i am.. but we shall see. fingers crossed :) if i make it, im going to have a little treat on friday since im off the weekend :j
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

    Oh! poor you.
Just put the blip behind you and carry on as usual in the morning:)
Sometimes we all get a bit weepy and nostalgic but remember why he is your Ex, try not to give up and when you have lost the weight and he sees you looking good maybe he will realise what he is missing. :rotfl:
    Good luck. xx

flexi-syn hunny, you have 105 syns for the whole week, so just have a flexi day today and have a good day tomorrow. last week i would have eaten the world out of chocolate and rubbish if you let me, but like someone said to me, flexi-syn and it isnt so bad! my friend ate her weight in chocolate and junk one week and still managed to lose 2lb... and when i say her weight in chocolate i MEAN it lol

  • Aww Becks81 I am sorry to hear that you have had a day from hell and that your emotional tonight cause your thinking about your ex, please please dont let him win by not focusing on sw, forget about him for the moment and focus on loosing weight, and then you will feel great about yourself again and you wont even think about your ex again, as it will like a new begining for you, so start changing your life now and leave your past behind you, take time and think about yourself and what you want, i take it that you really want to loose weight or you wouldnt of joined sw. Think positive and stay strong, forget about today, tomorrows another day, get motivated and start again and focus. You can do this and you will i know it. Let me know how you get on. Good luck!! :)
  • Has anyone tried the sw chocolate cake made with all bran, is it nice?

    Thanks in advance! :)
