hmfff im not liking my scales. after dinner i was 12st 9.5lbs according to my scales and noooooow it says im 12st 13 1/4lbs how the F does that work out?! not even amused.
haha kandfs mam i get swollen fingers if i walk a long distance with my hands at my sides - its something to do with the blood flow, but if you raise your hands every so often during, the blood rushes back to the rest of your body and its all good.:D
think im going to have to have a few very low syn days to see if i can get back to where i was last WI. last thing i want is to go to thursdays class and have a gain or a STS. not that there is anything wrong with it, but i would like to have a loss just.
on the UPSIDE... i had a victory today -> not only could i fit into a dress i havent worn in nearly 6 years, buuuut i also managed to fit into another dress that i bought at my skinniest during my adult years.i bought it when i was working in scotland in a well known golf hotel, but with the amount of running around i was doing id lost alot of weight. so im chuffed that that fits
plus!!! its a mrs deb Enhams size 12 (which is really a 12/14) but i dont care
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -

Aww fluff,
great news for your clothing , on the DOWNSIDE :rotfl: I know where your coming from, I am still in mourning for myself :rotfl: cos my scales are carpy too!
I know I've been brilliant but the scales say otherwise.

Well done Fluff, these non scale victories are great. I had one last weekend when I wore a pair of leggings with a jumper dress and didn't have to wear industrial sized support knickers with them!Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000

Well done to all the losers! :j
I've been in Paris since Friday. You don't want to know what I've eaten (it involves Laudree and Hard Rock cafe for starters:o) but I've done so much walking I've got horrific blisters and can barely stand up straight so hoping for a few brill SW days when I get back tomorrow and until WI on fri. Hopefully will even out as a STS.kandfs_mam wrote: »Lol @ you pair. Does no one else get swollen fingers when you do a lot of exercise? It only happens when I exercise strenuously for over 1 hour but it's so bad I can't get my rings off. It disappears again about half an hour after I stop. My friend is the same though so I don't THINK i'm a freak! The walk I did was pretty up and down hill so the muscles up the back of my thighs and into my bum were working really hard coming back up the hills and they ache like hell tonight.
I had that when I did the sport relief 3miles, I just put it down to it being hot out and me overheating!0 -

and did yoga, and stomach exercises, feel really good for finally doing something about loosing weight.
I did ww before but found I was always hungry, I did not know how much you can eat on sw and still loose weight. Hope to see results soon. ( it is only day one) lol
Welcome chirpy chick, I too have just started posting on this thread but have been on sw for 1.5 years and lost just over 2 stones. I find it the most easiest plan to follow once you get the hang of it, just stick at it and take in as much information as you can - think of yourself as a sponge! Before long it will become second nature to you. Good luck!0 -

I'm with you on that one, I went to a wedding last weekend and HAD to wear my not so sexy hold-em-all-in shorts that go up to my boobs :rotfl: In my defence I find they actually make me stand taller, thus giving the appearance of being skinnier IYSWIM!!
Another good day here, B-yougurt and apple and satsuma (resisted pancakes that I had made for DD's so felt all pleased with myself)
L - just a mugshot and some grapes as wasn't feeling too hungry.
T was roast gammon, leeks, parsnips and tatties in fry light, peas, sweetcorn, spring greens, and some pineapple and parsley sauce (4) but had ice-cream (4) with a splash of cream (3)
Still within my syns but feel like I've cheated. Another 30 minutes on Just Dance tonight, which has pooped me out.
So off to bed I go, I cannot believe it is Monday already tomorrow it comes around so quickly.
Night all xx0 -
Morning all, hope everyone had a great weekend. For the first time in goodness knows how long I had a perfect day yesterday - 35 min speed walk, drank 2 litres of water and ate 100% according to plan with only 2 syns (I owe the syn bank a fortune - wonder what moneysavingexpert has to say about that!!!!).
23-Apr-12 Monday
b/fast HEA courgette & onion bake; chopped salad
snack melon & strawberries
lunch tuna salad - leaves, cabbage, sp onions, tomato, cucumber, red pepper, beetroot, tuna, seasoning, dressing (2)
snack 60g WM bread, chickpea & sweet potato spread, tomato
dinner carrot, apple & sweet potato soup; lokshen & vegetable kugel with tomato sauce (ragu) (½); salad (2)Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0 -
Morning everyone,
thats another weekend out of the way.
Flat Eric. Consultant was talking about this at our group last week, how a person can be good all week and then "loose the plot" at the weekend for what ever reason.
When "off out" she suggested "flexisyning" so you stay to syns up until the point of leaving the house.
Have you tried totalling the syns for the week, and using them that way, if weekends are your "treatends" stay good and then enjoy.. does that make sense?
Getting There. Pub was lovely only burned through 7 syns! Pub in a church (temporary for the weekend.) It was an excellent environment, oh and I am doing an a creative writing degree. Loving every minute of it.
Didn't you have scale doubt syndrome last week too?
Chirpy Chick - I've been doing Extra Easy for 8 weeks and have lost nearly two stone. NEVER hungry unless I actually misplan or miss a meal (happens on busy days only)
KandFs mum I have that fat finger thing too.. my rings won't come off. I thought it was just me.
Becks81 I have noticed that the more I loose, the taller I stand. I had some "keep me flat" shorts, I didn't have an option but to suck it in and stand.. I bought the wrong size.:rotfl: So flipping uncomfy, I have never worn anything "unsexy" since.
Well done on the weight loss guys. For those that have gained, what is found is always easily lost again0
