  • Well my first day on slimming world has gone well i think. I got up at 8am
and did yoga, and stomach exercises, feel really good for finally doing something about loosing weight.

I did ww before but found I was always hungry, I did not know how much you can eat on sw and still loose weight. Hope to see results soon. ( it is only day one) lol :)

Not a bad day here today. Did my 6.5 mile walk in just under 2 hours and came home with blistered feet, sore bum muscles and swollen fingers so I assume it did some good

WI again tomorrow so we'll see how that goes!

Am trying to work out how you managed to have sore bum & swollen fingers from walking ;) sounds like you were using a wheelchair [sitting and using hands to push]. Sorry just made me wonder :p

Welcome to the mad house, grab a seat on Dizzy's tank its gona be a bumpy ride [especially as no-one seems to be driving at the moment :rotfl:] Where are you Dizzy, we MISS YOU :(

If you post your daily food diary on here we can offer any pointers/suggestions along the way.
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

it has been a strange week. Weigh in = a gain of 3.5 pounds :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek: not sure if this is my biggest gain but it certainly ranks as one of those wanted the ground to open up and swallow me moments....

anyhow had a good start to the week but syns have crept up and today and yesterday have been a disaster. I really struggle at the weekends. does anyone have any tips of how I can survive the weekend without going off the richter scale syn wise?

    Evening all ;)
So another weekend comes to an end....lovely roast lamb with roast spuds, sprouts and cabbage today. It was lovely!

I'm a bit concerned about my WI this week....been totally good for the last 12 WI's and this week, my 13th WI, I got a shock....put on 2lb!! No idea why as I have been totally on it. SW consultant said that perhaps my body was sorting itself out. I had lost 5lb the week before which I thought was odd but was happy then bang!! put on 2lb. So lets see how I get on this week.

Hope you all have good WI's this week :D
My second favorite household chore is ironing. My first being, hitting my head on the top bunk bed until I faint.

Oh ERIC I feel for you, I really do. I think you'll find that there's not many of us who haven't felt like you at some time.

Have you tried saving up some synns for the weekends? Maybe cut down your synns to about 5 or 6 a day during the week then have the extra ones at the weekend.

What plan do you follow? If its EE maybe have a few days on red or green so that you can have the extra healthy extras (to use for some sweet stuff if that's your thing)

Hope this helps, sometimes it just helps to know your not on your own!! x x

Lol @ you pair. Does no one else get swollen fingers when you do a lot of exercise? It only happens when I exercise strenuously for over 1 hour but it's so bad I can't get my rings off. It disappears again about half an hour after I stop. My friend is the same though so I don't THINK i'm a freak! The walk I did was pretty up and down hill so the muscles up the back of my thighs and into my bum were working really hard coming back up the hills and they ache like hell tonight.

Up and down hill??? Nay, not ever a chance, not on my legs anyway! :D I could get a hitch up and a roll down :rotfl:
The only hills I ever go up are in my dreams, and there they will stay.
    Ha ha.

  • I did some more wii fit tonight, so all told I did one and a half hours worth, a record for me, I burned 483 cals in the process.
That's the ONLY exericse I do, ha ha, cos I can go at my own pace.
If I ever went up a hill they would call the emergency services thinking I needed help, they wouldn't be wrong :rotfl:
