well i had a very long lie in this morning (longer than i intended lol) but so far today ive had:
2 Kiwis and 2 small oranges, and a very small treatsize dairy milk bar... (the one from variety pack)
dinner will be a sunday roast beef so all in all im guessing around 6 syns for it? the veg are done in the actifry but im taking my HEB as the oil used (its a teasp of oil for all the vegetables)... will that work?
i just need to rummage around for SF veg to go alongside the actifry stuff because most of it is free but not SFI'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know
On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!0 -
Your welcome
No I haven't but I suppose you could use it but I stick to tomatoes because it works well for me. The trick is to cook it on a high heat to let it reduce. It is definitely not watery. Sometimes if you switch it off from the heat for about an hour, let it cool and reheat it goes really thick and quite paste like iykwim. We had ours last night and I added fromage frais because I didn't have any yoghurtBIG MISTAKE! It didn't taste as nice as it usually does.
I think the secret with tinned tomatoes is to cook them 10 or 15 mins longer than you think you need to ... that last bit of cooking really thickens them up and evaporates that extra liquid, in fact you need to keep an eye on it (I use microwave so less likely to burn but it's been close at times). It also makes the tomato flavour much richer.confused57 wrote: »We all do at some time or other. Whatever you have done draw a line under it and get straight back on track. Good luck, you can do it! xxI literally now write the prices on my list as I go round. I wouldn't mind, but their stuff is higher priced than most places to begin with
:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

MM~hope that you are all on the mend soon.
A wee question from me.
As a newie at SW I take it if I have 15 syns instead of 10 it means a slightly less weight loss IYSWIM?
Was out last night and recken I had maybe 20 syns and have had about 10-15 every other day so cant claw back IYSWIM?
Can I be thick and ask what IYSWIM means?

On my 30th DS was 9 days old, OH had tonsilitis, I had the flu and DS was feeding 5 times a night! My 30th was 'memorable'!
40 and 50 were brilliant by comparison.
Have been angelic this week - extra veg with everything, very few syns and still the scales show that the extra weight hasn't disappeared.......grrrr!
Piglet - good luck for weigh-in tomorrow...
Well cyclingyorkie your not on your own!
I have been at my partners for the last 4 days.:D
I have had the most fantastically :rotfl: brilliant :rotfl: superb week diet wise. Got home this afternoon and could not wait to jump on the scales( sorry, but I could not resist ) to see what I have lost, knowing how good I have been.
I nearly fell off the bloody things, :rotfl: it showed a 5 pound GAIN:mad::mad::mad::mad:.
Now I aint laughing, I am furious to say the least.
So I jumped on the wii and have just finished a full hours exercise, burned 293 cals and nearly killed myself in the process :rotfl: and they still show 5 pound gain.
I am so hoping that tomorrow shows a different story or else

Aw gettingthere, that's a real b*gger. Hugs anyway. xMortgage Aug 22 £280,000

Oh no Gettingthere - how can that be? Hope it's just the scales playing games and the fact that it's not a full week since your last WI.
Change the batteries in the scale! I have two sets of scales in my house - they show a difference of 3kg - that's nearly 7lb. I know I'm not the weight of the lower one but I don't know whether to believe the higher one either!Mediterranean Mum
hoping to lose 50lb by February 2013! 2st lost so far :j0
