dinner will be veg soup with some wh bread, sweet potato wedges with quark dip :)

I might have an ice cream later(a bad one: chokablok which is 12-13,5syns but I didn't have any today so might be tempted :P )

    hope you're having a nice weekend :)
  • g+b - good luck for your finals - and enjoy your 30th!

On my 30th DS was 9 days old, OH had tonsilitis, I had the flu and DS was feeding 5 times a night! My 30th was 'memorable'!

40 and 50 were brilliant by comparison.

Have been angelic this week - extra veg with everything, very few syns and still the scales show that the extra weight hasn't disappeared.......grrrr!

Piglet - good luck for weigh-in tomorrow...

Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!

    46 weeks!
  • Oh no Gettingthere - how can that be? Hope it's just the scales playing games and the fact that it's not a full week since your last WI.

Change the batteries in the scale! I have two sets of scales in my house - they show a difference of 3kg - that's nearly 7lb. I know I'm not the weight of the lower one but I don't know whether to believe the higher one either!

Thanks medmum I will try that. I know myself I have been dead good, another hour mon, tues, wed for me on the wii fit :rotfl: should get them moving again!
    :)

well tonight as i said im having a roast dinner but tomorrow im having lentil soup for my lunch (first day new job, so at least i know ill be prepared - they dont have a fridge either)

so in it are lentils, bacon minus fat, tinned tomatoes, normal tomatoes, stock cube, celery, potatoes, carrot, parsnip, leek, onion, and a pinch of chilli flakes... will that work for the 1/3 SF?

ill grab an orange with me too, or maybe hack up a pineapple for a snack. going to invest in a cool bag for lunches - means i can take milk with me for a cuppa, and means i can take various things for lunch :) cuz i refuse to go to boots or mr A every day to buy things
I'd rather try and fail, than not try and never know

On the wagon again I go.... royally fell off.... 4.5st (63lb) by June 2016.... LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

Welcome hoppo, pYour in the best hands here, there's lots of really lovely people on this board ready to help and guide you along the way, anything you need to know will be answered by someone!
I myself have lost five stone and six pounds since the end of may 2011 and hope to get to target for the end of may 2012 aiming for a total loss of six stone.
There are lots of others who have done better than I have so the diet really does work. I have mostly used red/ green days but do sometimes use ee, just depends whether or not I need two heb.
So good luck on your journey xx

Hello and welcome to the friendliest, most helpful gang of losers you could wish for.

I don't do EE cos when I first started in January 2008 it wasn't about but I know a lot of people who do and it works brilliantly for them. I can't get to grips with it myself cos I think I've convinced myself that it can't possibly work (I have tried!) I know that it's not true but that's just me. A lot of people on here do it and you only have to ask anything you want to know and they'll be back with the answers.

I got to target by losing 3 stone on red (original) and green days but I am now struggling to shift 7lb to get back within the target range, I will do it cos it's a great plan.

You have chosen wisely by choosing Slimming World, stick to it and you will get the results you want. xx

Not a bad day here today. Did my 6.5 mile walk in just under 2 hours and came home with blistered feet, sore bum muscles and swollen fingers so I assume it did some good!

    Food diary for today:

    B - banana, pear
S - mullerlight; dairylea light triangle (HEA)
L - potato salad (5 syns), sliced chicken; satsuma, pear, banana
    S - 2 boiled eggs
D - SW chips, sliced chicken, salad

WI again tomorrow so we'll see how that goes!
