Weight was 16st 5lb now 16st 3 so lost 2 in 4 days - is week 1 of my journey into healthdom. Was out yesterday and had bacon roll ( not done healthy but I enjoyed it) back on plan . SO tired only had 4hours sleep in last 3 days ( joys of night shift and neighbours enjoying the sun- will be joining them today tho after a couple of hours kip cos looks like going to be another hot sunny day here in scottieland:)Date restarted DFW 30/04/16
Money owed :-
Vet £700
DMP too much ( need to find out how much )
That's it0 -
Was off plan yesterday, combination of tiredness and lack of planning. Didn't really enjoy it.
Back on the wagon today! Want to keep the number at the start of my scales as a 9:-)The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
morning loosers!
something hurts in the right side of my back/upper bumit started on Saturday and doesn't go away
not sure if it's a pulled muscle or something else... would go to the gym but I don't really want to risk it getting worse before we go away on Wednesday... not happy about it!
On the other hand I'm glad that it felt incredibly easy to 'go back on plan' after my mini blow out... I don't even crave chocolate that much anymore... A whole box of chocs doesn't seem so tempting anymore(more I feel sick even thinking about it!) and alpen light bar with coffee actually is enough to satisfy the 'coffee and cake/choc' craving... strange
gonna do a little bit of cycling today and some cleaning so that should do for exercise until the pain goes away...
Hope you all have a nice day!0 -
Well done cz on an amazing loss for your first week.
I am a bit like flat eric, confused could have explained it. But now I understand why aNd where I have been going wrong.
As an old school red or green day person I hadn't realised that on EE the fruit and veg had to be on the plate. I was having it at the same meal. I was only losing on green days!
We are still away on holiday so SW is quite difficult as we are self catering and taking turns to prepare meals. Doing my best though whilst trying not to be too difficult.business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

had a baaaaaad day today - was in work from two this afternoon until about 20 mins ago and decided to weigh myself when i got home, bad times. according to my scales, ive gained about 1.5lbs... so, for the rest of the week (until thurs WI) im gonna try to go to minimal syns.
though i know exactly where i went wrong - today was the bridal fair in work, so food was a grab and go scenario (i didnt have a chance to make anything before i left the house), and what was grab-able wasnt healthy in any form. so, tomorrow im going to the shops and stocking up on healthy. no treats for the rest of the week- i will not be STS at WI if i can help it
Don't be too strict, why not allow 5 syns a day until you weigh in and treat yesterday as a flexi syn day? Our consultant says it is important to have your syns (at least 5 each day) and those members that are too strict with their syns tend to find their weight loss slows down.0 -
Hi all
Ive been following the slimming world diet for over a year now and so far Ive lost 2 stone.
I still have roughly 12lbs to go until target but to be honest I dont even see it as a diet anymore, its just become my way of life. I also started kettlebell training to tone up and its made the world of difference.
I much prefer slimming world friendly recipes any day over "fatty foods".
The only problem is cooking separate meals for the hubby as he wont touch my meals with a barge pole apparently! lol
I think the key to slimming world is variation..try new things or you end up stuck in a rut eating the same old meals day in day out and crave the "naughty meals" again.
This site has quite a good few slimming world friendly recipes..

Drum roll please...... 3.5lb off :j, SOTW & SOTM!!!
I am sooooo chuffed especially as I thought I'd blown it with having a night out. I am so pleased I managed to avoid the crisps & nuts and late night takeaway and just stuck to gin & slim instead :rotfl:
I'm really pleased with the plan and I follow EE though a lot of people at my group can't get away with it and have switched to red. I tend to try to make sure I have 1/3 superfree throughout the day rather than by the plate and it seems to work for me.
I still have a long way to go but this is a really good start - my next mini target is another 1st & 3.5lb off by the first Saturday in June for our local Gala - just under 10 weeks so approx 2lb a week and I should be there, fingers crossed.Mortgage Aug 22 £280,000
Current mortgage £28,0000 -

The plan has given me a new found love for vegetables aswell, used to really hate em but now Im constantly on the hunt for new veg I havnt tried yet or new ways to cook veg (boil em to death was the only thing I used to do with em:) )0 -

.
Congrats on the loss. Its such a brilliant feeling when the scales show a smaller figure :T:T
Im on EE as well, and dont have any problems with it. Like you i tend to make sure that i have my superfree food through out the day rather than by each meal. This is what i have been doing since i started the SW plan and it seems to be working for me.
