  • Gettingthere, looks fine to me. Keep up the good work :D

MM glad all is ok. Keep an eye on things though as my friend was admitted 4 different times with acute pains, he thought he was going to die!

sashanut -MORRISONS are selling the greek style Muller Lights at £1 for 4.

Well my trip to the pub burned through 8 syns (rounding up) yesterday, and was worth every one, But I think the mince from the butchers that I used in the Spag bol was dodgy as we all felt horrid last night.
Uni today, study day. so HEB will make up my sarnie. Fry up for breakie, with eat smart sausages, and chicken carbonara for tea when I get back.

    Have a lovely day folks!

Kandafs mam - please can I ask where you get the coconut Mullers from ?? I thought they were Ltd Ed & they have disappeared from the local supermarkets - and they were my fav!!!

not sure which coconut ones you mean but:

the new greek fat free ones(0.5 syn each) sold as a 4pack should be in every supermarket(1 odd quid when on offer)

if you mean the coconut mullerlight(free?) tho I have been getting them from morrisson recently(5 for 1gbp), never saw them anywhere else

WI day again and while I have lost since last week, I seem to just be going around in circles with the same 5 lbs. And I haven't cheated at all so I don't understand why I'm in this vicious circle.
    A normal workday is:
Breakfast: 2 WW yogurts, a pear and a Weetabix bar (HEB)
Lunch: Homemade veggie soup with Quorn chicken chunks
Snacks: A couple of apples and another pear, Wholewheat Crackerbread (HEB) with Laughing Cow on them (part of HEA), packet of Onion Rings (5) or a Flake (5).
Dinner: A Pasta 'n' Sauce or Savoury Rice with Laughing Cow (other part of HEA) melted in and veggie sausages (.5 each) or Quorn burgers

I do green so that should be ok, anyone have any suggestions? I know eating the same thing will slow weight loss, but I'm having significant weeks of gaining doing this.

  • It looks to me like your not having enough super free or enough veggies. I would up the salad and veg at every meal and maybe try a re/ green day for a change. Try having a couple of boiled eggs for breakfast with just one yogurt instead of two, have a huge salad at lunch with 2 slices bread and home made soup, cooked meal at tea with lots of veggies and save some syns, seems like ur body is so used to the same and u need a change, lastly drink at least two litres of water a day it really does make a difference, good luck! Xx

    Good morning :)

Had a brilliant day yesterday and looking forward to another good day ahead...

B- Mullerlight, strawberries, raspberries and grapes
L- not sure yet but probably an omelette with chillis, onions, leftover chicken, mushrooms
D- Homemade chicken jalfrezi with rice packed full with chillis, peppers, tomatoes and onions. I will make my own onion bhajis, not sure how I'm going to syn them but they are done in the oven rather than fried so much better for you. Far less syns I would imagine than a reg bhaji which has 4 syns iirc...

    Snacks will be banana, melon
    Syns - bhajis and poppadoms

Have a fabulous slimming day ladies!

£1 for 4 is really good, they are £1.79 at Tesco and that's apparently half price! They are so yummy but I wouldn't pay £3.50ish for 4! I would love to try and make a desert using them, they remind me of panna cotta for some reason.....ohhhhh yum!

I do mostly green but always add extra veg i.e huge onion roasted & tomatoes even though you don't have to I know more super frees will help with weight loss. also why not make your own pasta bakes instead of using processed packets, you can add superfree veg to these to up your intake.

Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Interesting about the if you have chilli with lots of superfree in it you still need a 1/3rd extra - we were told that if you make a chilli/curry/etc that has your 1/3rd in it, then that's fine...

We were told that if you put a load of veg into a chilli ot a bolognese it will cook down and when you serve it it will be less than a third of your plateful - ie not satisfying the EE requirement.

The Area Manager described the policy as 'protecting our weight loss'.

Incidentally - I work as a school dinnerlady and we automatically serve up extra veg with bolognese, chilli, curry etc....
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
