As suggested by a couple of you lovely ladies last night I'm back to writing everything down, so if some of you could give my food diary a quick once over and let me know if I need to tweak anything that would be great!

    EE
    B- Mullerlight, Strawberries and Raspberries
L- 2 slices of Hovis(heb) with 2 poached eggs and spaghetti hoops
D - Homemade chilli made using steak mince served with rice fried in fry light with loads of mixed peppers, onions and mushrooms.
Snacks will be banana and melon.
    Syns - 2 finger kit kat 5.5syns
Drinks- 3 cups of Tea(hea) and at least 6 pints of water, hot water with a lemon wedge.

That is a typical day for me so I've come to the conclusion that my STS was down to last week when we had 2 takeaways and a meal out. Like some of you have said I could be a week behind, meaning next week I should have a good loss!
I agree with other posters that you need to add some more suprefree, esp at lunchtime!

regarding the chilli - we have been told AGAIN, by the Area Manager ( we have a newly trained leader who is learning the ropes and the AM is regularly at our meetings atm) that if you have something like a chilli or a bolognese EVEN if it has lots of superfree in it you should still have 1/3rd superfree on your plate...
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
  • Interesting about the if you have chilli with lots of superfree in it you still need a 1/3rd extra - we were told that if you make a chilli/curry/etc that has your 1/3rd in it, then that's fine...
Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world!

Only used 8.5 syns on Wednesday and 12 yesterday so will probably be calling upon some of them today! I've got 9.5 banked from those 2 days and I'm feeling ill and munchy and I think chocolate will help!

Probably should write my meal plan....
    Coffee
    Weetabix x2, yoghurt, banana, tea
    HM soup
    Coffee, curly wurly(6)
    2 x waffles(5), scrambled eggs, beans

Still got an A and a B to use and got 4 syns left. Feeling really bleurgh:-(

Oh no! Hope it isn't appendicitis but if it is it's good to catch it early- can whip those things out quickly without too much pain. Fingers crossed though x

  • She's back home at the moment. Doctor couldn't find anything when he examined her but she's still got pain. I actually think she's maybe pulled a muscle or something as she hadn't exercised for ages and suddenly started running this week (she's a bit like me - all or nothing!). So here's hoping that's all it is.

Thanks for the concern everyone - really appreciated.

I've heard that about the chilli etc. Personally I just can't understand the logic and I tend to agree with you invisibleyousee. I really go to town on adding veg to chilli, bolognese and curry. Probably up to half is veg. It's a bulking out tip I learned on the OS boards and I wouldn't have it any other way now as I love the taste. I suppose if I wasn't losing maybe I'd give the chilli plus superfree a go but otherwise I'm ignoring it.

I've got dizzy's Ox burgers for tea with chips, tomatoes, mushrooms and peas. Can't wait. Yum! Yum!
