I also keep my freezer stocked with lots of frozen veggies - green beans, mushrooms, cauliflower, onions, broccoli, carrots. It's then quick to just throw a load of them into a pan or stir fry them. I also make vegetable stews with them which you simply need to add a tin of chopped tomatoes and seasoning to and cook down - makes a great sauce over chicken or any meat, and you can use it also as a pasta sauce.

I'm going to make up a large bowl of salad, enough for 2 days and snack on that before a meal if my meal doesn't fit with a salad.KissyKissyKaren41 wrote: »yup mushrooms will do the job xx maybe a piece of superfree fruit as well i struggle with lunches too as im always hungry but never starving lol
Somebody mentioned keeping a list of all the superfree fruit n veg on ya fridge or food cupboard doesnt have to be in full view but when ur deciding what to have you know you need to choose at least a 1/3 off this list im going to do that myself today im more a visual person so rather than having it said week in week out i see it so to speak could be an idea theyre all in the orange pages of your book x
That's a good idea actually, I usually do that with my freezer, we have a large chest freezer and I forget what's in it half the time so writing a list is really helpful. On my first week at SW I divided my fridge up, I have a larder fridge so it was easy to do.... superfree on the bottom 2 shelves, syns on another shelf, free food on another and things I should avoid on another. It' still more or less organised like that but I'm running out of fridge space!0 -

I've got lets dance or something and I thought it was rubbish. Just dance might be completely different though.
I started on the wii fit this week, doing an hour a day and customising my own step on the free step mode, taking larger steps and lunging, using small weights too. I ache all over so it must be working, I just wish it was a bit faster. I'm considering buying the step up(things to raise the wii board) which will increase workout. I'm going to buy those gloves that have weights in them, it will be easier than lugging weights around.0 -
you can buy wrist weights theyre good too and ankle weights they say doing the housework with the wrist weights just like wrist bands get rid of ya bingo wings lol xLOST 7ST 1/2LB July-groc chal £209/£300

Well this weeks feels like it's gone okay so far, yday I had two mugshots and apples during the day as I was stuck in a meeting from half 9 to half 3 and that was as much as I could manage in the 5 minute breaks!!
Dinner last night I did veg and bean chilli (kidney beans, carrots, onions, courgette, peppers, chilli, tomatoes etc), with half a tablespoon sour cream on the top and served with boiled rice! (I don't know how many syns that is but it tasted great, I didn't use much of my HE milk allowance (only two cups of very strong tea with a tiny smidge of milk), so perhaps that will make it less synful!!). Pudding was a HE portion of cereal with fresh strawberries and a teaspoon of chocolate hazelnut spread (yum!).
Breakfast today:
HE 55g brown breadroll with two eggs and cherry tomatoes cooked in frylight.
Lunch will be leftovers from last night.
Snacks - I've got apples with me, and a pasta mug shot if needed althoguh i doubt it will be today.
Dinner tonight not sure about - we're moving furniture and the OH wanted to get fish and chips ( :-( ) which I've said I won't be partaking in, but don't know what I'll do instead!
Tomorrow night we've been invited out to a friends birthday meal for Chinese - it's my real vice so I'm almost not looking forward to as I know I'll want spring rolls and egg fried rice etc... I'm not sure if stir fried veggies and boiled rice will cut it?!Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world!

They had a set of wrist/ankle weights in Lidl fairly recently, so could be worth checking to see if they have any left in the giant baskets or if they have them advertised online still/again!
I've got a set of Sainsburys dumbbells which are useful and don't take up too much space, it's getting in to the habit of using them!Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world!

Invisibleyousee - chow mein is a good choice on SW, or something in black bean sauce. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Thank you - I think it might have to be black bean sauce as and I might order some extra vegetables on the side to distract me from the spring rolls!!Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world!

I love Just dance. I could do it all night (with my sisters in law - we are unstoppable!) and you get really sweaty and hot. It's very good exercise if you like dancing and making a tit of yourself!0

I have (well my daughter does) Just Dance 1 and 2, as well as Just Dance Junior for both girls. They are all a good giggle especially for a wriggle though, none of us have any sense of a beat in this house.
Excellent for exercise and entertaining the kids (play time with mum) here though.
I'm off out for a pint in a bitlooking forward to it.. sun is out but not for long, already managed to get the school walk in, (5 miles) and spag-bol in the slow cooker for tonight.
Need to post some ebay bits now so behave yourselves ladies.:rotfl:0
