    Good evening

Just back from WI and I STS :( so did my daughter!! I don't understand because we have been really good.....what am I doing wrong, surely I should be losing this early into it? When we left the class my daughter said it's not working for her but I've told her that it is, we're eating more food than we've ever eaten and we've lost twice and STS this week. Neiter of us are due on, I've done 3 hours of exercise this week too. I am gutted! :( My daughter lost 2.5 in her first week and .5 in her second........both weeks she had been out and was drinking so she is really baffled because this week she has had no alcohol or meals out.... I don't drink so this would never be an issue for me anyway. Any words of wisdom or advice would be greatly appreciated right now.

WI today and I lost 3lbs. That puts me just inside the lower end of my target so I'll have to do my meal plan carefully this week.

Our consultant came up with a list of 10 challenges for the week where she wanted us to choose 3. Good ideas for anyone flagging a bit.
    1. 3 x 15 mins of exercise per week
    2. 5 pieces of fruit and veg before any syns
    3. Try a plan you don't usually do
    4. Have 7 different B choices
    5. Have at least 3 items of superspeed a day
    6. Drink 6-8 glasses of water/diet drin per day
    7. Try a new fruit
    8. 3 x 10 min walks
    9. Do a week's food diary in full
    10. read the Food Optimising book again.
well done maman, keep up the good work! :A

    Hi medmum,
I would say usually around 7 syns, which equates to 140 cals, 20 cals = 1 syn. :D
    Happy crunching! ;)

I made this but adapted it to my own sauce etc and used chive cottage cheese.

It was gorgeous. Everyone loved it. I sometimes make it with quorn and /or baked beans and totally free on green day. Freezes well too.

I also sometimes use philly as a top spread before the cheddar. This is great too.

Some times bad weeks lag behind and catch up with you, her 2 weeks of eating out and drinking have maybe caught up with her.

Dont be disheartened, a STS is better than a gain and a lot if people have a good loss the week after a STS. Don't give up, batter on and it will work. Follow the plan to the letter, post your meal plans up here so we can see if maybe you're going wrong somewhere. And keep a food diary, lots of people eat without accounting for it, almost subconsciously!
The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.
