    Good eveningh

Just back from WI and I STS :( so did my daughter!! I don't understand because we have been really good.....what am I doing wrong, surely I should be losing this early into it? When we left the class my daughter said it's not working for her but I've told her that it is, we're eating more food than we've ever eaten and we've lost twice and STS this week. Neiter of us are due on, I've done 3 hours of exercise this week too. I am gutted! :( My daughter lost 2.5 in her first week and .5 in her second........both weeks she had been out and was drinking so she is really baffled because this week she has had no alcohol or meals out.... I don't drink so this would never be an issue for me anyway. Any words of wisdom or advice would be greatly appreciated right now.

Well done to all losers and hugs to those who need one but keep your chin up good weeks always catch up and I am also a 'two' week weigher ;)
Dizzy is missing all the poo talk -- her favourite :D
Hope all is well with her.
It has taken me two days to catch up with all the reading -- you lot can talk :rotfl:
As for my journey it has taken a side step at the moment due to family loss and it will be next week before things settle down. And then I am for hospital for a cardioversion so all go here

Thank you, I think the food diary is where we've gone wrong this week. The first 2 weeks we kept check of everything we were eating and I thought there was no need for it any more because I'd got the hang of things....seems that's not the case. Back to a food diary tomorrow and I will update here too and I may need some pointers.

    Thanks again, you're a brilliant bunch! x

Evening all - quite a good day for me today. Still feeling motivated and up for it, today's food:

    B Mullerlight & a pear
S 2 dairylea light triangles (HEA)
L SW mushroom "quiche" (no base), banana, pear, mullerlight
    S Alpen light bar (HEB)
D homemade tattie & leek soup; veg stir fry with noodles.
Drinks have been black coffee, NAS squash & fizzy water.

I bought myself a Kelly Holmes medicine ball in the Tesco sale and I can't believe how heavy it feels after a few reps! It's 3kg which doesn't feel heavy to start with. I have been looking online for different exercises and have found quite a few - anything which tones up my jelly belly will be much appreciated! lol

    evening :)

finally managed to catch up with you! :D Love the poo talk! I always say poo is my best friend when trying to loose weight :p bf doesn't seem to agree :rotfl:

I had a little 'slip up' on Monday(is there a rehab for chocolate addicts anywhere?:o) but decided to have a Red day on Tuesday and loved it so I might do Green/Red more often(probably mostly Red as I'm a meat lover and can live without pasta/rice/spuds)

I still hope for a (small:o) loss on Saturday :p

    Today's food:
    *cottage cheese with pineapple
    *banana
*Starbucks large cappuccino(it's about 148 kcal so 7.5 syn?)
*wm couscous with prawns, crab sticks and lots of veg, apple
*coffee with HE milk, alpen light bar
*wm spaghetti with turkey mince, veg and pineapple 'bolognese'
*greek ff muller(0.5 syn), alpen light bar

Weigh in day for me and 2lb down! Hit my first mini target of 9st 10, next mini target is for 9 and a half stone.

    Yesterdays efforts helped no doubt.

    Well done !

Oh no, I done that a few weeks ago, I weigh myself in the house on a Wednesday morning, and post-poo I had lost another 0.5lb :D:T. Day 4 of poo-gate now, still no sign  think I will double up lactulose tonight, had to cancel docs tomorrow as boss is on holiday :o

Can I ask why everyone uses co-op WM pitta, I just usually use asda or tesco ones???

    W
asda wholemeal pitta changed their recipe and were no longer heb; at about the same time the Co-op became heb. as far as I know the others aren't - probably brown rather than wholemeal or something (edit: oops TIE got there before me!)
your syns are there to stop feelings of depravation and so you can have treats in moderation.

Sorry to laugh at you squid - I can honestly say I've felt more depraved since I lost weight than ever I did before :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Hello all, I would like to join this thread please.

I have been going to SW classes since October 2010 and have lost 2stone 3lbs, I did manage my 2.5 stone award but have let things slip somewhat.

I've been a lurker on these boards for well over a year but never knew this thread existed!! I really need the motivation to kick my weight loss into gear. I know the plan works and once I get into it I do get some fantastic weight losses but have been hovering just above the 13 stone mark for far too long now.

I usually weigh in on a Thursday but asked for a holiday this evening as I don't have the £4.95 to pay at group :o. So I will start with a day one tomorrow and subscribe to this thread hopefully you can help me stay on track, and I will do my best to return the favour!
