Wins for 2020: April - Flowers, Keyring0 -
Finally got my feet back under the table and back into planning mode. Got my Friday and Saturday planned and now cooking as I have to make my son some food packages!
20 April 2012
B-2 slices WM bread toasted (HEB), 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped salad – cucumber, tomato, sp. onion, cabbage, avocado (9syns), seasoning, 1 tblspn light mayo (2syns)
S-melon, strawberries
L-tuna salad – leaves, cabbage, tomato, cucumber, red onion, beetroot, tuna, new potatoes, 1 tblspn light mayo (2syns), seasoning
D-vegetable soup; chicken, SW roast potatoes, stir-fried veg, chopped salad
Having a few more than 10 syns today but hopefully it'll balance out over the week as I don't tend to use that many in any day.
Also walked early this morning for 35 mins so hoping that my first week back is going to be a good one. Weighed last Sunday but going to push it on one day to Monday to eventually get back to Wednesday or Thursday weigh in day which is what I was doing before.Mediterranean Mum

Well done TIE on the loss.
Regarding the bug - I've found that because of the high quantity of fruit and veg that we're eating - and less processed foods - that if we are feeling under the weather, the high quantity of vitamins that we're putting into our bodies are naturally fighting it and clearing it up. If you think generally about the way we feel when we're eating completely off plan and putting all sorts of crap into our bodies, we feel bloated, sick and generally under the weather. So perhaps you might have come down with full blown flu if it wasn't for all the goodness you're feeding yourself.Mediterranean Mum

As suggested by a couple of you lovely ladies last night I'm back to writing everything down, so if some of you could give my food diary a quick once over and let me know if I need to tweak anything that would be great!
EE
B- Mullerlight, Strawberries and Raspberries
L- 2 slices of Hovis(heb) with 2 poached eggs and spaghetti hoops
D - Homemade chilli made using steak mince served with rice fried in fry light with loads of mixed peppers, onions and mushrooms.
Snacks will be banana and melon.
Syns - 2 finger kit kat 5.5syns
Drinks- 3 cups of Tea(hea) and at least 6 pints of water, hot water with a lemon wedge.
That is a typical day for me so I've come to the conclusion that my STS was down to last week when we had 2 takeaways and a meal out. Like some of you have said I could be a week behind, meaning next week I should have a good loss!0 -
Looks ok to me Lalamb but the only thing I would say is to increase the veggies at lunchtime - you need to have a 1/3 of your plate full with SF food and from what I'm reading you don't have that.
Someone had a great suggestion the other day to have a bowl of salad prior to the meal (as a first course) and then you're sure to have eaten the right quantity and perhaps less of the main course.

Morning all!
I'll start as I mean to go on and plan my meals for the day.
EE
B - Muller yogurt, apple, melon pineapple.
L - Mug shot with Ryvitas and cheese (a & b) grapes
T - Stir fried chicken and prawns with spring onions, sweetcorn, eggs and peas. (4 syns for veg oil) and a meringue nest (2) topped with a muller light yog.
Snacks - more melon and grapes
Bit low on the old 'free foods' but this will have to do until I go shopping tomorrow.
So this lot takes me to 6 syns for the day which I'm more than happy with as to kick start this week I'm aiming for 10 syns a day.
I hope everyone has a lovely day, the sun is shining and its Friday!! :j0 -

Thank you....that is exactly what I thought re the SF foods. I will get some mushrooms and have fried in frylight, will that work?0 -
I find that filling the plate up with salad items is the best and easiest. I also keep my freezer stocked with lots of frozen veggies - green beans, mushrooms, cauliflower, onions, broccoli, carrots. It's then quick to just throw a load of them into a pan or stir fry them. I also make vegetable stews with them which you simply need to add a tin of chopped tomatoes and seasoning to and cook down - makes a great sauce over chicken or any meat, and you can use it also as a pasta sauce.

yup mushrooms will do the job xx maybe a piece of superfree fruit as well i struggle with lunches too as im always hungry but never starving lol
Somebody mentioned keeping a list of all the superfree fruit n veg on ya fridge or food cupboard doesnt have to be in full view but when ur deciding what to have you know you need to choose at least a 1/3 off this list im going to do that myself today im more a visual person so rather than having it said week in week out i see it so to speak could be an idea theyre all in the orange pages of your book xLOST 7ST 1/2LB July-groc chal £209/£300
