  • Feeling like i have lost some weight as i am feeling "lighter" if that makes sense. I havent weighed myself but i can just tell.. Is that weird?

Its another gloomy day in Sheffield :(. Its so depressing :(

    Menu for moi today -

B - Turkey rashers & scrambled egg. Satsuma
L - Salad (really enjoying these at the moment) ..rocket,sweetcorn,beetroot,carrot,pepper,mushrooms,spring onion, chicken chunks, and a few baby potatoes .. REALLY looking forward to eating it. it looks yummy and very colourful :D
D - SW quiche with tuna & sweetcorn will be having a lot of frozen veggies on the side. Undecided about chips yet as having baby spuds at lunch (although it is only 3 ) ..
Snacks - fruit, sugar free jelly & muller light yoghurt

Have a nice day everyone

Not weird. I find that the more rich and vibrant the salad appears to be, the tastier it is.
Wet and 'orrible 'ere in E Yorks too. Went to see this so called asda sale - pityful effort of missing parts and garments with holes in. Not impressed.
Not feeling foody today. Might be cause I am cold :D Mugshot for lunch kids are having pizza for tea, i fancy something warming. I can highly recomend slow cooking beef on a bed of onions carrots and potatoes, the broth has been put to one side for a base.

    D'oh!

It's someone's birthday in work and there was a cake presentation earlier. I stayed for the first bit out of politeness but slipped out when the cake started to be cut to avoid the 'oh, go on, have some' lark. Well meaning colleague has just brought some to my office on a plate so I didn't miss out, *sigh* :o I've just had my sandwich so am not hungry but wasn't too fussed anyway, so it has been wrapped up and put in my now empty lunchbox to take home to OH.

Let's see if I can do this again in a couple of months time! ;)

Faffing with the weight loss, but this morning and yesterday I found myself on the last hole in my coat belt. Felt great. Sadly it's a pretty new coat; vintage mulberry trench coat bargain off Ebay so I'm actually a bit gutted - will end up giving it to my mother in law if I lose a few more pounds. My loss is her gain, as it were!
  • Very well done gunsandbanjos, luvverly jubbley! Xx

Total loss = 5 stone 12.5 lbs. / But now GAINED 1 STONE 1.5 LBS!!

    46 weeks!

WI today and I lost 3lbs. That puts me just inside the lower end of my target so I'll have to do my meal plan carefully this week.

Our consultant came up with a list of 10 challenges for the week where she wanted us to choose 3. Good ideas for anyone flagging a bit.
    1. 3 x 15 mins of exercise per week
    2. 5 pieces of fruit and veg before any syns
    3. Try a plan you don't usually do
    4. Have 7 different B choices
    5. Have at least 3 items of superspeed a day
    6. Drink 6-8 glasses of water/diet drin per day
    7. Try a new fruit
    8. 3 x 10 min walks
    9. Do a week's food diary in full
    10. read the Food Optimising book again.

  • I'm going to make Lasagne tonight from the Extra Easy Cookbook.

Instead of the cheese sauce layer they use they use ff natural yogurt mixed with egg. I'm trying to use up what I have in the fridge so do you think it would be OK to use ff cottage cheese (drained of the watery stuff) + egg for one layer and Quark + egg for the other?

    Thanks.
