  • I started with a great day yesterday, despite all the running around I had to do which was well planned for, and ate according to plan, then I was unexpectedly thrown when I saw sitting on my kitchen bench a tub of dulce deleche (caramel spread) - I ate the whole bloody thing. Felt sick as a dog after that and couldn't face making or eating supper. Fortunately I was out all evening otherwise who knows what else I might have eaten later on!

Well it’s gone now and I’m back on track again!

Weigh in day for me and 2lb down! Hit my first mini target of 9st 10, next mini target is for 9 and a half stone.

    Yesterdays efforts helped no doubt.

Could you tell us what harissa dresses chickpeas are. Sound nice.
    Ta.

Tin of chickpeas - half a tsp harissa paste mix with a big squeeze lemon juice and all tossed together. I'm going to try dry roasting them too as a crunchy snack

Midweek wi was sts - which is ok considering how I've been feeling and pmt bloating. Going to try and maintain over my we away - friend I am staying with is a fabulous cook though and have a feeling there will be copious wine involved too.

Feeling like i have lost some weight as i am feeling "lighter" if that makes sense. I havent weighed myself but i can just tell.. Is that weird?

Its another gloomy day in Sheffield :(. Its so depressing :(

    Menu for moi today -

B - Turkey rashers & scrambled egg. Satsuma
L - Salad (really enjoying these at the moment) ..rocket,sweetcorn,beetroot,carrot,pepper,mushrooms,spring onion, chicken chunks, and a few baby potatoes .. REALLY looking forward to eating it. it looks yummy and very colourful :D
D - SW quiche with tuna & sweetcorn will be having a lot of frozen veggies on the side. Undecided about chips yet as having baby spuds at lunch (although it is only 3 ) ..
Snacks - fruit, sugar free jelly & muller light yoghurt

Have a nice day everyone
