    Eh... see... now, this wasn't remotely mentioned at group.. and heres me filling my plate. Iwouldn't have known if you hadn't mentioned it! How can they by superspeedy but only free. I am really confused now!

    theres quite a few others that are superspeed but not super free, if you look at the green free food page nearly 2/3 of those are all speed or superspeed, yet are just a "free" food. did your consultant stress that it was def only the orange pages that are SF? one of mine just glossed over it and made the "most fruit and veggies are SF!" claim without detailing where to find the ones that aren't.

    with peas, its not so bad on EE now but it used to be that if you wanted fish, SW chips and peas it was a choice of a red day and 2 HEB gone or a green day and have a measured portion of fish.

    ETA: just picked up the ragu jar of white sauce for the lasagne, it states that there is 17.2g (25%) of fat per 1/4 a jar OMG!!!! That means 100% of the RDA in one jar! - Off to find a white sauce mix more sw friendly

    I use campbells condensed low fat soup as a white sauce - usually the mushroom one and dilute it with veg stock. There's 7 syns in a whole tin but I normally usually use half a tin fr a family size lasagne. HTH

  • Piglet I hear you, but you know maybe all that body magic is building more muscle and maybe the measurements are going down at the moment rather than the numbers on the scales.

    You're obviously doing it right as you've come such a long way so just keep going and try and not pay too much attention to the numbers - I'm sure it'll even itself out - {{{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}

    thanks, :A

    well done on your loss!

    i just have to dust myself off and keep going,

    why do we let ourselves get so hung up on the number on the scales?:mad:

    i look and feel better than i have done in years, and despite being over 12 stone, i am fitting into a size 12

    i said when i started out at SW, that i would not care what weight i was, i would be happy to get down to a size 14, so everything else now is a bonus,

    so why am i so cross :mad:

    no, afraid not, i dont have periods (on depo injection) but i had seemed to have settled into a pattern where every 4th wk i had STS or gained a half, but it wasnt even the 4th week either

    HUgs piglet. You're so close now, things are bound to slow up a bit - I'm having the same problem. Try to focus on what you've lost and look at the long game.

    Shellieholly, don't get white sauce out of a packet! When I make lasagne to be SW friendly I just use quark or maybe a bit of fat free plain yog as my white sauce. It's absolutely fine. Makes no sense to me to use up syns on your main meal - save them for treats!

    You have done amazing well to get nearly 6 stone off.. :D. It sucks seeing a bigger number though especially if you have really tried that particular week. It will catch up and you will no doubt have a great loss next week !! :D
