    Got my SSB today :)

I am happy with the handcream - always gets used. Looking forward to the bath stuff too. St. Tropez gradual tan I'm on the fence till I've tried - usually prefer to get the tan in one go, will be good to try the brand though. Not convinced about the quality of the lashes and with the perfume - I think they're too small to be anything but a bonus item. However for the reduced price I am happy.

Looking forward to GB now! And not going to look at the latest in beauty box for fear of crumbling, they're really good value aren't they!

P.s. Not convinced about the idea of a spoiler thread, think it would all be a bit disjointed with two, hopefully most are happy with the way it's done now.

Oh my word, I completely apologise for the length of my above post. I'm so sorry!xxx

Don't apologise - it was fascinating.

I've just had the first of my 3 SSBs and was unfortunately rather underwhelmed.
The bath elixir smells OK but I always shower.
The hand cream I tried a dab of and gagged (I hate geranium - so much that anyone wearing it makes me move carriages on the train).
The St Tropez cream will make my legs orange I suspect - but as I rarely show them I can afford to experimant I
    suppose.
The lashes I may just wear in November - we'll see.
The yardley is actually not as bad as I was anticipating from the picture (I don't like the smell of rose either) but its definitely not my thing.
And the BB cream I already have a tube of after I got a sample from LIB. Willowbee do try it - I am very pale and its fine on me, I have a wierd neutral tone (somewhere between warm and cool) and this is the best of the BB creams I've sampled.

Unless it gets significantly more exciting I suspect I shall give up after the deal and just stick to LIB where you can choose what you want. Although even with LIB I've ended up with some carp - but at least I have only myself to blame for not researching what's in things and finding the dreaded geramium reaching up to strangle me from the minutest of pots of stuff ;)

I think i read about a swopping area -can anyone point me in the direction, i think ill need it!!:p

The link to the facebook page is in the first post on page one of this thread.
I've been and had a look today but can't see any actual swapping going on, so I've done the 'contact' thing and asked what to do to offer some of my unwanteds. I will report back when I get an answer!

I'll just quickly share my shame before I go to bed...

I was looking a bit pasty in the mirror this morning, and the St Tropez leg tan was on my dressing table. I decided it couldn't be bad for my face as long as I protected my eyes so I put on swimming goggles, applied it, blended - and the results looked great. The light was a bit murky but I looked healthy and glowy and decided I didn't even need to apply any base products.

I had lunch with a friend who looked rather sceptical when I said I had no make-up on, and I couldn't understand why.

I just went and looked in the bathroom mirror to put my cleanser on before bed - and my face was sparkling! The tanner must have some shimmer stuff in it. I was walking round in the sun all day twinkling like a Twilight vampire. Argh:(

That gave me the best giggle of the morning. Sorry, I know its a bit mean to gain amusement from things like this but I do also laugh at myself.

On holiday I managed to go out looking like my eyes had rotted, having put on far too much green eyeshadow in the semi dark. I wondered why OH was giving me such peculiar looks and only realised when he showed me a picture of myself. Oh dear. Good job I'll probably never see any of the people in the restaurant again.

I've looked at that page, and there seems to be a lot of posts from companies selling things. There was a picture of a bundle of make-up for a swap for £21, but it had all been opened, which is off-putting for me. I couldn't buy used so would always want sealed items.
New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!

Ive noticed that. Is there anyway one can be done here? or would it break some rule?
or it anyone would start a page/blog etc for it and we can do it there?:D
Bit disappointed with the FB page -its all about that co-buying place and as said people selling items not got in boxes. Would be great to find somewhere specifically for the boxes...??

Im tempted to buy just ONE of the other boxes. If i did just one month sub, would i need to contact them to cancel it any further boxes/payments be taken or would it just lapse?
(shouldnt have started in here -its addictive!!!! :p)
