I've succumbed to the Betrousse box after reading about it on here! Just a tip for anyone thinking of buying it, if you sign up first to their newsletter by creating an account, they email you a link for £3 off. Postage is £5 so with £3 off the box ends up costing £19.0

I haven't actually looked at that swapping page on FB for ages so if it's rubbish, I'll remove the link from the OP. I posted on it once to see if anyone had one of those purple lipglosses available but never got a reply so never bothered going back to the page.
If anyone wants to set up a swapping group on Facebook, I'll happily add a link to it on this thread.
Missli - I've added the Betrousse link to the Op, thanks hun
I fully understand we can't actually try to swap on here but is there any problem discussing resources elsewhere where we might 'meet' to swap - in the hope we all end up in the same place to do so? I though it was just the actual act of swapping and swapping addresses that was not allowed?0 -
Just wanted to say hello! I'm new to both MSE and beauty boxes. This thread has been really helpful and I've enjoyed reading it, although I'm worried it might be the start of a new addiction :-) I signed up to the SSB Jubilee deal and am moderately happy with my box. It's not a great match (do not use self-tan or lashes) and would not have wanted to pay full price for these, but isn't the point of these boxes that we try things we wouldn't ordinarily use? Overall the products are good quality and I look forward to the next. I'd like to sign up to another. I'm currently keeping an eye on Latest in Beauty and Amitee (when it says 'Asian' does this include suitable for Oriental?), but I also like the look of the My Bundle Beauty Box although I am not pregnant and worried I'll end up with teething gel! :-P0

i just had my first my bundle beauty box and apart from a teething ring the other things were for me so it is worth a go!0

Ohh I'm waiting for mine to arrive - postie hates me atm with all these too big for the letterbox beauty boxes arriving!!
What month/stage is the one you have? Think it might be a little too early for a teething ring for me seeing as I'm only 25 weeks! xxNo buying un-necessary toiletries challenge - Start total: 235. Current total: 273!!0 -
mine is 19 months old and to be fair, they did email and check his age before sending which was a good idea0

Don't worry I think the whole lot of us are addicted! It always starts with 'I only want one / two boxes' then then the deals are too good to resist! I'm almost certain your skin would be suitable for Amitee, to be honest from what I've seen in the boxes online the products would be suitable for pretty much everyone.cookinmummy wrote: »anyone else still waiting on their SSB box? Got mine, you're having to wait awhile aren't you? I'd call if it's not here tomorrow.Ohh I'm waiting for mine to arrive - postie hates me atm with all these too big for the letterbox beauty boxes arriving!!
I'm the same, and I'm always still asleep when the postie comes (got to make the most of the final few days before LO arrives), he is nice enough to put everything in a box at the back door.
GLOSSYBOX sent today - Remember it is by courier now so be at the ready! Don't know what the system is if you're not in. Personally wish it was still RM.0 -
I got my Glossybox, and it was brought to me by my local unfriendly sour-faced courier. Always a pleasure to see her:D
First impressions in white....
My first impression is - it's crap! I was convinced I had a product missing until I checked the card. I'm pretty sure I got the booby prize box and there is a good version out there!
I got 3 x Agent Provocateur samples in a little box, which might have pleased me except that I already got them for free from Agent Provocateur.
Then there is a 1g sample of mineral bronzer. I'm so pale (which my unused Glossybox beauty profile confirms) that bronzer just makes me look dirty.
Then there is a small Yves Rocher mascara. I will try this, I always like to try new mascaras.
Next is a card containing 6 Vichy Dermablend foundation stick samples. One, or possibly two of them will be pale enough for me.
Last thing (with a RRP of £15 no less!) is a Glossybox Beauty Brush. There's no way in the world it's worth £15, it's soft, but too bendy if you know what I mean, it doesn't have any density. Elf brushes are better than this. They just want people to think they're getting value for money in a poor quality box.
This is a proper 'sample box', no full size product, all stuff you would get in a magazine, or as a promo sampler through the post, and the brush is a standard company promo item. Not impressed at all I'm afraid.
So now I'm going on Facebook to find out what I could have had!0
