    Afternoon ladies!

Just had my SSB box and I'm quite happy. .....spoiler talk.....

I like the lashes and will definitely use them. I'm a pale girly as well, but in the summer I do occasionally pop on fake tan and the only one I can use without streaking is St Tropez, so this will also be used. I love the Elemis elixir (and i try and treat myself to a pamper evening once a week with a bath) - so again will be used. I got the Mischa Barton body butter and I am happy to try it out and the same goes for the BB cream. So nothing I won't use or try - so that equals a good box for me. :D

As I cancelled glossybox last month I was able to quite happily read the spoilers above.......spoiler talk...

I can see why you weren't impressed and I think I made the right decision to cancel last month. The problem is I bet there are some fab boxes from them this month as well - but who knows who will get a good or a poop one? I've not tried that mascara so it would be cool to know if it's any good though!

Other Glossybox items that are floating about are a MeMeMe nail varnish, Paul Mitchell conditioner, and another HD Brows product, tweezers, and a Dermalogica set - probably the facemask/scrub/lipbalm one that was around a few months ago.

Someone made a very good point, Glossybox say it's a random mix but the bloggers do seem to keep getting the better boxes, plus just enough of us plebs to give them compliments on Facebook. And they always use a photo of the better box on their website to show potential customers what they could get every month. It's quite dishonest.

gentleorange, I agree with your comments, so glad I cancelled my subscription last month. I never got an absolutely dud box, out of the two I had, but only actively liked 3 of the products out of each box.

It wasn't enough for me, so cancelled. In white:

I loved the HD brows product from my last box, so to receive what you did would have been disappointing for me. From your box would have liked to try the mascara (although have loads unopened), and brush (not what I'd have liked as the star item). I'm not a big foundation person, so bet none of those sticks you got would have suited me, although perhaps useful for some. I really dislike sample sachets in general unless a bonus item.

What other boxes are you subscribed to, if any?
New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!

I cancelled Glossybox last month too and when I realised they were being dispatched on time for once this month I thought oh no maybe I'm missing out and they have finally got their act together. Thanks for the spoilers Gentleorange I am glad to have unsubscribed and will certainly be remaining so. Glossybox as a company continue to unimpress me.

My second SSB June box is currently at the sorting office. Update to follow! Fingers crossed it is the second variation :)

I'm locked in with Glossybox for 6 boxes! Perhaps not the best purchasing decision I ever made:D

Aside from them I have the birthday Joliebox coming, but then will probably cancel the sub, SheSaid 6 month sub, and then I also get the LatestInBeauty/Mail on Sunday boxes which are my absolute favourite!

I'm very tempted by the natural boxes and full sized box, but I have limited myself to two subscriptions only. I did a stock take of toiletries the other day and was shocked at how much stuff I have!

Got my GB today too ...

Pretty disappointed too, seems like a very low value box.

I got the concealer samples, mini bronzer, Agent Provocateur samples, mini mascara and brush. I will probably use them but not going to get excited about it! I don't like samples such as the concealer which are really only enough to see if you like it, not something you can use for a few weeks and enjoy using.

Wish I'd got the Caudalie perfume (10ml) that some got or the HD Brows tweezers.

Still OK for the £7 del I paid but wouldn't be happy if I'd paid £13!

I got my Glossybox, and it was brought to me by my local unfriendly sour-faced courier. Always a pleasure to see her:D

I received the same box as you, I'm locked in for 12 months though so I'm stuck with them for a while. The £50 through topcashback has been credited to my account already however, so it's not too bad for the cost per box. We have obviously got the poorer box, I'm wondering whether long term subscribers are getting the poorer boxes because they can't cancel. That might be just the conspiracy theory tendency in me though....

    Hi

Ive not actually posted on the Beauty Boxes thread before but here go's.

I got my first Glossybox this month and Im really really happy with it. Heres why -

HD Brows Tweezers - Ive had HD brows done and I know these tweezers are very very good. The ends are very small and angled so they can get even very difficult hairs.

BM Beauty Summer Warmth Bronzer - Ive tried a few mineral bronzers but this one seems really good. It can be used as bronzer or on the eyes. A few of you have said its very pigmented and it is, maybe mix with another paler mineral make up to get the right shade.

Paul Mitchell The Conditioner - Paul Mitchell products are fab, ive other products before such as the awaphui shampoo and the detangler. This bottle is a really good size for taking to the gym or going away etc.

Vichy Dermablend foundation kit - Dermablend is an amazing product. It will literally cover any blemish or flaw in your skin. I have had experience with this before as my friend is a make up artist and he swears by this stuff. Even a small amount under the eyes will have fantastic coverage.

Glossybox brush - This is definately not a high prices brush, but its useful none the less. Even for just sweeping any mineral or eyeshadow excess off your face.

2010 wins - Rizla t shirt, Lady Gaga t shirt, creme egg keyring Feb wins - Lucozade products, £15 New Look voucher, Ice age 3 toys, kushelle Koala, Thorntons melts, Elemis fruit active peel

    Ooooh hello ladies.

I never even knew this thread was here as i never normally make it to the Freebies board.
I subscribe to both Glossy Box ansd She Said Beauty.

My Glossybox came with my lovely courier this morning (i think i'm the only person happy they have changed from RM to Hermes) and i'm not really sure what to think. Thoughts below in white.
I got the HD tweezers, Vichy sample card, Caudelie perfume, Bronzer and brush.
I really like the perfume. The tweezers will be used although i get my borws threaded so rarely use them. Bronzer too dark but i think will work as an eyeshadow, Foundation samples - the palest might work as concealer but a big waste of product. And the brush. Nice enough but should have been an add on like last months mirror.

Also hope you don't mind but this is my blog - with some pics of my products. http://pinkandtwinkly.blogspot.co.uk/2012/06/glossybox-june-2012.html
I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler
