It was my first box this morning, and after resisting sneak peeks and leaving it till last to open it....
The box is very pretty and i was all excited...
however, im a little disappointed :(

    As stated, in white below!!

ST Tropex Gradual Tan Med -Dark - i cannot use fake tan to save my life, and if i did it would have to be light, due to my super pale skin, which i wrote in the profile, so that was a disappointment.

Balance Me Hand Cream - im ok with this one as im using a little sample from the trial box from the newspaper a few weeks ago. However, never heard of it, and just hope to not get a reaction!

Elemis Tranquil Touch Body exotics - I dont take baths! I have M.E and atm its in a bad stage where taking a bath is impossible -i can only take showers :(

Lets Go Tease Strip Lashes - from what i hear a regular in the boxes! Ive never used false lashes, one thing i was lucky to get was naturally long lashes! So i doubt these will be used!

Yardley Royal Diamond Tiny Sample perfume - a bit too old ladyish for me im afraid.

Ginvera Green Tea Nude Cover - such a small sample how can i tell if it works!! generally you need to use products over time to see if it works....

So all in all not too impressed :(

I think i read about a swopping area -can anyone point me in the direction, i think ill need it!!:p

Haven't had mine yet....and I'm resisting reading the spoilers. Though I'm desperate to read them. The emoticons are teasing me!

My box arrived today and I'm pretty happy. This is the second June box I've had, as couldn't resist the jubilee offer.

1st box I got was the same as Willowisp so pretty happy that I got the 2nd variety box, same as Missili today

The BB cream is a bonus item and having tried it from the first box, I am really pleased to have a second sachet of it,

I'm even considering buying it, its so good

So quite a happy Granny today

Hope you are all happy with your boxes

    Welcome to the thread welcome9.gif

Don't be shy, chatter away and ask anything you like. When it comes to the timing of boxes, I'm afraid it's not that easy. In fact, you are probably more likely to understand String Theory than the subscription/dispatch framework of Beauty Boxes :rotfl:

I would guess that you will probably receive June's box as that is the one they are currently sending out to new subscribers. I assume that the latest email you received is just to inform you that the cut-off date for subscriptions to the June box is 18th and anyone subscribing after that will receive the July box.

But don't take my word for it - I can't even remember which boxes I've got coming to me this month!

PS - there are codes and cashback notes on the very first page of this thread, so if you missed them, you can always unsubscribe and then resubscribe later in the month to make sure you get the best value

Thanks for that. I guess I'll just wait and see what turns up! Thanks for the tips on the codes as well!

I would have loved to try the Balance Me Handcream that was in the other version, and would have preferred the gradual tan moisturiser for ease of application, although mine will be great for legs, which is what I need. It was worth getting 2 for you then.

    Was the handcream full-sized?

Approx £6.50 for 6 delivered boxes is a bargain considering the contents (3 full sized products, plus 3 samples!)

I've just recevied my first SSB box as I signed up for the Jubilee deal. I'm really pleased with it apart from the St Tropez Gradual Tan as it's medium/dark and I'm so pale I'm a blue/white colour usually! ;)

Anyway, a question - what is the usual date SSB is dispatched?

SSB arrived today - amazingly I got the variation I wanted! Will continue in white:

Yes, I got the Balance Me handcream (that is a clicky link by the way)instead of the Mischa Barton cream. Yay! I LOVE this handcream, I've already got 3 full-sized 100ml tubes of it from when Balance Me had their 70% off sale but they are all a bit too big for my handbag. The smaller 30ml one from SSB is prefect to carry around - and when I use it up I can just decant more into it from a full-sized bottle! Very happy with that.

I'll give the BB cream a go but I'm not a huge fan of them to be honest. I've tried different Korean ones and I also had the Garnier one sent to me by Boots panel - none of them really suited me. I know people rave about them but I'm just not a tinted moisturiser type of girl, I'm afraid. Plus, I'd rather use a natural moisturiser anyway.

Everything else will be given away or ebayed - I got sent the dark St Tropez for my pasty white skin :rotfl: I'd look as if I'd fallen into a vat of Marmite!

With p&p and the Jubilee code, the SSB box worked out at £6.66. The Balance Me handcream costs £6 for the smaller size so I'm relatively happy overall.

    Granny's reply

In my first box I got:

    I got
50ml bottle of Elemis Tranquil Touch Indulgent Bath Elexir RRP £3 as 300ml is £19. A little goes a long way with this, lovely scent
Balance Me Super Moisturising Hand Cream - 30ml full sized bottle RRP £6
75ml St Tropez Gradual Tan Everyday Body Moisturiser, shade medium/dark - RRP £5 as 200ml is £14.30
Let's Go Lashes -Tease - RRP £8.95 - oh no not more lashes, think someone is trying to tell me something
1ml vial Yardley London Royal Diamond EDT -RRP £0.20 as 50ml £10

Bonus item - Ginvera Green Tea Nude Cover BB Cream - 3g RRP for 25ml £20

So definitely worth having both boxes at £7ish for the first as it was part of their opening subscriptions offers and £6.50 for the 2nd. Not at all disappointed, even with 2 lots of lashes :D

I wanted to comment about not spoiling the thread for others when their boxes arrive - could a new thread be made for spoilers? When reading the thread on phone or ipad, it's difficult to highlight all the text to read it.
