Disappointed with my You Beauty Discovery box for the first time. Was for the dark lipstick colour featured (although knew was going to be variable, was hoping). Instead got a pink shade (minx) that will be passing on. It doesn't suit my skintone at all. Is much paler than my lips, so looks like I have gapingly covered them in with irridescent chalky crayon. Not a good look. Might have been tempted by the brand otherwise. They should so have sent out a generic suit-all shade.

Got my Telegraph beauty box yesterday, and it was all wonderful. I loved the lipstick that was included. Looked a vibrant coral/red suit-all shade on me.
New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!

Use the code YBD10 for £10 off the youbeauty discovery advent calendar.

Do you think this calendar will go down to 50% off? It seems to in previous years, but it also seems to be £10 cheaper than previous years!

I was just googling it and one site said the 18th December, another said Boxing Day.

They were offered to people who'd already purchased it at the end of Nov and then generally mid Dec last year. I ordered mine on 13th and kept it for this year.

They were originally £49.95, reduced to £24.95, so no more pricey than this year's YBD advent. I'll buy one if they drop to 50% off again this year, £10 off isn't enough to entice me

I think that if the sales are good, the price won't get lower. But who knows how sales go?
