  • I hope that this not so good box is a one off and not like other beauty boxes that do good boxes for the first couple of months to get you to subscribe and then the contents go down hill. I really liked this company aswell.

Have to say im rather disappointed in this months selection
5ml of nail polish is decent, 50ml is not bad either.

However if you don't like the January selection go to "my membership" and click "cancel membership" then rejoin in February.
I skipped a month and it was no trouble at all.
But I think you need to do it before 1st Jan.

Rather good of them to let you see the selection before your committed.
    Very disappointed in January!

    Argghh :-)
Cancel guys, no need to be dissapointed.

I don't agree BTW I think it's looks great, but hey ho that's ok, we're all different.

Thanks for that - I am going to cancel for one month then come back. I got 12 Nails Inc polishes from John Lewis for £21 in the sale so I really can't justify anymore polishes!

Plus the advent calendars are down to £24.95, but you have to pay postage - even if you are a member - of £4.95. For me 24 decent sized and full sized items might be better value than the beauty box this month. I will be back though! I love getting the little boxes of joy.

Arghh :-) I bought the calendar at £39.95.
Have emailed them to see if I can cancel in the hope they might be nice.

I could send it back but probably won't get much change out of the tenner I save.

I bought a couple at the £40 price as my mum stole the contents of the one I bought for Christmas and frankly £40 for all those things (all my new favourite products) was still a bargain. Sadly you have to pay to return them and I suspect the cost of postage wouldn't save me much (plus the hassle!). Oh well, next year I will wait!
  • I had been waiting to see if the advent calendar would go to half price but now it's oos :(

The nail polish is 13.5 ml not 5ml. It's full size. Everything else seems to be small samples though which is a bit disappointing but I'm hoping it picks up for February as I loved the December box!

Yep sorry 5ml is for the face mask (I got the *'s mixed up).

Shampoo, conditioner and cleansing milk are 50ml, these are not small sample sizes, but hey ho, each to their own, if you don't want it then don't buy it, there's still time to cancel.
Shampoo + conditioner duo is 100ml.
I think this is one of the best so far.
  • I think it's a good choice again, and those popchips are really yummy too!

I've cancelled my January membership for You Beauty and signed up to Birchbox with free shipping code FREESHIP13. I will wait for February's box update to see if I want to rejoin You Beauty.
