How cool is this for an idea of what to do with old beauty boxes?! x

That looks especially lovely with the pink boxes. :)
New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!
  • Received January's Birchbox yesterday and promptly unsubscribed, they used to be great but over the last few months they've become beyond rubbish. Yesterdays was the worst!

But looking at what all of you in the know have to say I've just signed up to YBD, which looks much better and so much cheaper. Why was I spending £12.95 a month on random rubbish when for £6.95 I can pick two items??? Should have done this sooner!

Gone for the Essie polish and the Sanctuary scrub, for the first time in a long time I'm looking forward to a beauty boxes arrival :)

  • I agree, I thought this months Birchbox was another poor one. I'll give it one more month, and then if that's the same, I'll be unsubscribing too.

I was still reeling from the piece of elastic hairband and brown eyeshadow in the previous box, yesterdays left me fuming.

Oh and if you decide to cancel make sure to fill out the product surveys to get your points BEFORE cancelling as afterwards they will take the surveys off you which annoyed me further. So spent the points I could but I think that was a little cheeky of them considering the surveys were for the box I'd paid for. Clearly they aren't that keen on feedback! Lol

Thanks, good advice, I never thought about doing the surveys. :)

£6.95 for two items is so good, I had exactly the same thought as you - why I am paying more for random bits when I can pay less and actually get something I want!! I am going to sign up to YBD, now just to decide on what to get... :)

Oh gosh has anyone seen the feedback for this months glossybox? It's painful to read!! I don't sub no more and so glad I don't!! You would have thought with all the bad feedback last year they would have upped their game but it just gets worse!!! I just cancelled my birchbox because I can't afford to keep paying for things I'll never use but at least they do include some good brands most months xx

I haven't read anything yet, is that on twitter? I did receive my box today though, and I'm not really that impressed either tbh. It's not the worst box I've had off them, but it's nothing special either.

I'm sure I've get a few pairs of tweezers already....at least it's not another pair of those eyelash curlers!
