antoniarose wrote: »My YBD December box FINALLY arrived today... with an almost black lipstick, a tiny Green & Blacks milk chocolate (not the raisin one which was promised), some bath oil and a load of tissue paper. Firstly it's taken almost 6 weeks to eventually turn up, the mini magazine thing is missing and i'm 100% sure i'm missing a sample. Safe to say i'm not at all impressed.
If you can find your confirmation order, it'll have which samples you ordered - make sure it's the new order email, not the despatch confirmation one.
I'm pretty sure the bath oil was actually from the month before. I think the extras should have been the choc and a Jummy Choo perfume sample, which obviously you're missing.0 -
I didn't really think much of this months YBD choices. I chose the mud mask and the eyeshadow brush. Nothing else really took my fancy.0

Aw thats a shame, I was really happy with the options - mostly because I'm always on the lookout for lipglosses and mascarasThe "Bloodlust" Clique - Morally equal to all. Its worth it for the GlamGlow alone - it is the best mask i've ever use. Its stupidly expensive for the 15ml (£25) - but worth re-subbing to YBD this month for me.

I've never got on with lip glosses, I'm a lipstick girl! Glosses don't last 5 mins with me!
I was tempted with the nail polishes, but tbh, I have enough nail polishes to stock Boots! :rotfl:0 -

That's what I thought, I've read good things about the mask, so I'm glad I'm able to try it. If I really like I though, I don't think I'll be able to afford the full size!
I wonder how many goes you get out of a 15ml tube? 1 or 2?0 -
I've ordered the glamglow mask as the reviews on it were very good and I ordered the Black Pearl serum. Its only 5 ml but is stupidly expensive (50ml is showing as £250! or $345) so its the only chance I'll get to use something that price. (Is it wrong I sort of hope I won't be impressed by it so I'm not tempted? although I don't think I could ever pay that sort of price!)0

Ive also gone with the glamglow, ive wanted to try it forever but couldn't justify the price tag! You can buy the 15ml trial size on the glamglow website for £10 which I think is good, I think its cheaper because it is just in a tube and you're bot paying for the fancy glass pot.
It says this size you get 3 applications0 -

I bought the 50ml big pot (from Amazon) but have since worked out the cheapest way to buy GG is buying sachets - a use is 5ml - meaning you get three uses from the tube/small pot and ten uses from the big pot.
They are selling a pack of 4 single use sachets for £8!!
Even at my bargain amazon price of £33 for 50ml that works out at £3.30 a use (as long as I don't get excited and apply to much), whereas the sachets work out at £2
I would also recommend a brush for application vice fingers as its more economical.I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler0 -

As my box had got lost in the post, I had to wait 3 weeks to ensure it didn't turn up, by which time I could only have what was left over. Quite disappointing really. At least this months choices seem slightly better!0
