I really like Birchbox, their product selection is better than Glossybox and abit more high end (Laura Mercier, Last month and again this month) and you always get a couple of extras too. Glossybox just seems to disappoint people month after month, check their Facebook page before you subscribe.


Also You Beauty Discovery is amazing, for 6.95 you get to chose from some generous size samples. They're my favs anyway xx

Has anyone tried a Boxdelux gifting box? Thinking about potentially buying one for Christmas for my sister, but just wondered if anyone has tried one?

I have had a box from them and then I cancelled. It was okay but not worth the money. You could make your own box cheaper and it would be more suitable for your sister.

Received my birchbox this morning, I got:
Laura Mercier body butter 25 ml, okay but I have enough body butters to open my own shop.
Weleda shampoo 18ml, 2 uses
Cecelia highlighter pencil, this does not inspire me, I have had similar products in other boxes.
Spa find sculpted silhouette intestine bust firming extract serum, not sure about this, definitely different
English laundry perfume sample 2 ml, all I can think is not again.
4 pukka tea bags think I got the extra for free, I will pass these on as I don't drink tea
Birchbox pencil sharpener, very useful and I will use it.
It just seems an odd box

Thank you, did you try them since they have merged with LuxBox? I have tried their subscription when a special offer was on, but not tried a gift box yet.

I had a lot of problems with luxbox. They did not send boxes out and banned me from their Facebook page because I asked where my box was even though the box was weeks late. Eventually I opened a dispute with PayPal and got a refund but other people were not so lucky to get their money back.
