Thanks for the feedback on Beauty Bible experiences! Think I'll give it a whirl, especially if they profile :-) I think I was lucky enough to find products when I was quite young, but think I have got stuck in a rut and there are probably better products out there these days. All said and done, I still totally love Shu Uemura, even if they did sell out to L'Oreal, and glad there is more than one stockist in the UK these days!

It's definitely worth it. With the exception of a very shiny pale Benefit eyeshadow, everything suited me down to the ground (can only assume a gremlin got into the works somehow there). Thanks to BB I discovered the wonderful Barefoot Botanical rosa fina range, and unfortunately Guerlain's Orchidee Imperiale, the best facial cream I have ever used but THE most expensive - it has actually come down in price and is now a mere £262 - I think it was around the £300 mark when I tested it. I didn't know whether to apply it or worship it!

Thanks Missli, good to have a chance to be back on, can't bear to miss the deals!

I'm planning to reduce my subscriptions too but won't make promises till I see what deals come up - I'm thinking ssb may try something when the jubilee'ers deal comes to an end and we all cancel!

I've just accidentally come across a spoiler as to a couple of products in this month's Joliebox, on the Facebook page of the brand in question. I'm not entirely sure if you get both products, or whether it's an either/or - the prices of each differ considerably so I'm hoping it's both.

Does anyone want me to put a spoiler up ;) or will the temptation be too much? :D

Rose80, you're right, they probably will. If its as good a deal as last time, will be worth getting again. I'd just rather not sub another monthly, and would not pay full price for 1/2 a year up front. It would be the only thing that would tempt me.

judyjetson; please put the spoiler link up, as would like to see it. ;)

I love the idea of the beautybible. It sounds like there are loads of great products to test. Has anyone got a link for it please? :)

    Hi All,

Just to say I was so unimpressed at the August Glossybox that I emailed to complain. They said if nothing had been used, if you send it back they could reimburse me for £10, or might be able to add some Glossydots onto my account. I thought it was a bit of a waste of money this month.

Just thought I'd share this as it's a moneysaving site. If you're not happy with the contents like me, perhaps get in touch to let them know and see what happens.

That's useful to know BUT I think it's a bit of a cop-out on their behalf as you'd still be paying the £2.95 it cost to be sent in the first place plus the return postage meaning you either pay £12.95 for a pretty disappointing box or around £6 and have absolutely nothing to show for it!! Based on this and the fact that I like the Eve's Balm, Cleansing Oil and Lipstick I think it's just about worth keeping but will definately be binning the eyeshadow palette - utter trash!!

:D Mummy to two gorgeous LO's and always in search of a bargain!!! :D

Does anyone know if the 25% of your first box would work on the limited edition one at Lux ?

I'm trying to sign up but it wont let me input a code anywhere ?
    thank you.

I looked to see if I could get a discount (as had to open a new account for it to work), but there is no discount that I can see for this one-off. I'm sure it will be good, as Lux have always had consistently great boxes. :)

Missli, here's the link for the Beauty Bible tester panel:
    http://www.beautybible.com/tester_panel.htm

They can take a while to get round to you, just depends what they're testing and which age group.

OK, big Joliebox spoiler so DO NOT LOOK if you don't want the surprise ruined. I came across it by accident as the brand in question had stuck it on their Facebook page!
Full size Jelly Pong Pong Lip Cushion and Wide Awake Pallette.

EDIT: Really sorry if anybody saw that. I tried to do a direct link in the spoiler, not realising it would actually show up despite the spoiler tags. It was literally only up for seconds.

Spoiler now seems to be working - I think it's going to be one of those days!

I posted this in more detail about a month ago. I was totally unimpressed with the last men's Glossybox. It was dire. They offered a refund, but not on the postage and I would still have to pay to send it back. I said that they are mis-selling as their website clearly states that they are deluxe sized sample (which they weren't) and I send them a copy of the page on their website that says this and the item was not as described, so they needed to refund my postage too. They let me keep the box and refunded me in full including the postage. I imagine the same argument applies for the ladies' box now as the items in the box are not high-end.

Just to say thanks so much for this, I think I might write back and give this a go.

    Best wishes,

    Thanks jj! :T

I'd love to receive the 2nd item, so perhaps might be worth temporarily re-subbing? Is it either, or both of the products from the Joliebox spoiler that should be received?
