I'd be disappointed with that box if I had stayed with them. I agree with your comments about as I felt the same. You can get far better products from the £1 shop and from the local market IMO. Definitely not a luxury box IMO.

My Glossybox arrived earlier.

Prowhite nail varnish - Will definitely use (nail varnish addict that I am)
Sample of Valentino Assoluto- another in the pile of perfume samples.
DHC Cleansing oil -
Vera Valenti eyeshadow palette - Bit rubbish tbh
Lipcote - I remember playing with this when I was little. Not going to get used.
Glossybox lipstick - I don't really wear lipstick. Will give it to somebody else too.

Not too happy with this box. I *think* this was the last in my three month sub. Don't think I will be re subbing.

just had an eamail from SSB confirming they have already sent me a second august box despite me only re subbing(at their invitation) and emailing them to ask to delay the box till sep when it became clear it was the august box!!!Talk about quick!!!think it may have already been here as note from tNT to rearrange delivery....of course their site is not working:mad::mad::mad::mad:all in all not pleased and def don't want a second august box as it was not very good anyway:(:(:(:(

My Glossybox was waiting for me at home, after a day out with the kids. It was a lovely surprise after a full day. I'm happy with my box, this is why:

I usually keep my toenails painted, and paint fingernails infrequently, but leaving on for long periods, so am happy to try the brightening nail polish

I wash my face (with face-wash) every night, but rarely use a dedicated make-up remover. I like the deep cleansing oil, as recently tried a small sample of Shu Eumura oil which I liked.

I had a different product to others as received an Eve's balm, which is a multi-purpose recovery balm for chapped skin (RRP £4.95). This is a product I can see myself carrying in my bag daily.

The eyeshadow palette does look cheap, but I will use. I love green eyeshadows, and will also use the darkest brown, and yellow shade. I've just tested, and the pigmentation is good, most of the colours suit, and the handy mirror makes this a must for handbags.

Lipcote; I used to use years ago, but stopped as have been wearing a lot of Gloss. Its a useful item to have.

Glossybox lipstick; I'm not sure if I'd pay £9.50 for it, but it is a lovely suit-all colour. I tried over the top of red lipstain I had on first thing (now faded), so will wait to see what it looks like tomorrow on its own.

I'm pleased with mine as everything is a product that I'd use. Glad I re-subbed.

I'm having a ditzy moment and can't get my spoiler text to go in white so you can only see it when highlighted like others have done. Can someone advise me how to do this please?

It's difficult to write the instructions for it because if you do, they go in white! But basically, at the start of your text put the word SPOILER and put square brackets around it [SPO*ILER]
At the end of your text put /SPOILER with the square brackets again [/SPO*ILER] (but leave out the asterisks!)

They did this too me, when I took a sub out, they reimbursed me for the 1 month and let me keep the extra box.

Looking at the current GB spoilers I think I am so glad that my brain kept my itchy fingers away from re-subbing this month. It's the 1st month since December that I haven't had their box and some months I've bought more than 1 due to good discount codes.

Still not had my lux box and so far have avoided the spoilers, hope it arrives tomorrow

this is the email they sent yesterday ...is it me or does this seem like they wanted me to renew and would start sending me the next new box(i.e sep)?given that I had august box in july!

I got a similar email and am just as confused. If you sort it out do tell! I decided I'd just do nothing for now as it all seems too complicated. I'm actually fairly sure I've had all three of my three box subscription so I can't believe they are about to send me one:undecided
