  • Has anyone cancelled their Lux before? I tried cancelling it last night, but I've not had a cancellation email or anything, and the page itself said 'your subscription has been cancelled as of ______' with no actual date.

I'd email them, but they've never responded to any email I've sent yet, and I don't have a Facebook account.

  • I've cancelled mine twice now with no problems. I did query a date on my account but they told me that it was a gremlin in the system with regards to dates and not to worry.

    You should be fine hun

    Hi Girls,

I've just been to the LuxBox website and have seen they are doing a Limited Edition box with 7 full sized products for £20 plus p&p. Thinking of doing this...have LuxBox ever done a Limited Edition box before? I saw this on the LuxBox site (it's not letting me post links as I'm a new user) if anyone's interested.

Would be interested in your views on whether to go for it or not. I bet it will be amazing though...hard to justify spending £23 on beauty items I don't know about in advance though...!

    Thanks,

    Judith

Knowing Lux, will be spectacular. I have GlossyBox coming next week hopefully, so am trying to keep saying that to myself to stop me spending. I'm after a new toaster, plus need to get new school uniform for my children, which will hopefully stop me splashing out.

If you can, why not though. I know I'm going to be very jealous! :D
New forum. New sig. Yes I still need to lose 2 stone!

I was naughty and got the LuxBox Limited Edition, fingers crossed it'll be good! Thanks for your advice Missli!
  • I really really want to get the Lux box - I know I'll be dissapointed if I do get it but the little devil on my shoulder is telling me to buy it g020.gif

  • I resisted for a few hours but I got it too.

J is going to wonder what is going on with all the boxes I have arriving this month :)(and hopefully my bag. Please arrive this month bag!)
  • Thanks purplebutterfly :)

I'm thinking about re-subbing to Joliebox.

At the minute, I just have SSB, since I cancelled Luxbox last night. I've had Glossybox in the past, and I get really annoyed with the inequality in the boxes, so I don't think I'll be signing up to them again.

Are there any boxes that people really highly rate? I'm not that bothered about make-up items (I like some things, but I have so much right now and I'm really picky about shades) and I like trying new skincare (even though I have a drawer full of REN... shhh).

If anyone liked the Monu products in the Glossybox, there's a good deal going on KGB Deals: http://www.kgbdeals.co.uk/edinburgh/every-day-deals/127483/100-skincare-voucher--monu-skincare--edinburgh

    I'm really tempted - loving Monu at the moment! It's £19 for a £50 voucher or £35 for £100.
