Edit: oh just seen they'd sold out by around 6am - typical, I was up from 4:30 till 5:45 then went back to bed, oh well, saved myself £20 I guess, but I did so want to try the Stila.

Also heard that some people apparently managed to buy more then1 at a time, I bet Ebay has a lot to sell at silly prices in a few weeks!

Now whether to justify the Lux ltd ed or not - so which I knew even 1-2 things that were in it! Is there a new LiB themed box out soon as well did I hear? x

I bought mine at 7.20. it said low stock but let me get one. there's rumours that they are being released in batches.

they shouldn't have let people get more than 1, I bet they'll appear on eBay as individual products. the Stila alone is £24 in boots!

I hadn't even heard of the Selfridges beauty box - I must be totally out of the loop! But if they all went between 5-6 a.m I wouldn't have got one anyway, I only climbed out of my pit at 10:o

I think it's around the 23rd this month, a little later than usual to accomodate people being on holiday.

I hadn't heard about the Selfridge box either. I really can't justify any more beauty boxes so I'm happy to have missed out this time round!

Yes, editor's pick box expected soon, not yet confirmed when it is though.

Link for Selfridge's box here in case anyone is interested. Showing as sold out still though. Not sure if they will release more. Glad I didn't know about it as I really don't think I should buy any more until I use some of the products I've got. Looks really good though.

Me too! Its the first I've heard of this. A shame its sold-out as love the look of everything in it.

She wants "A premium box is on the way in October with high end brands, available only to an exclusive set of customers. The price point will be higher and it will operate like more of a club."

So even more special box for special people behaviour from Glossybox.

Something else I read on a blog - that most of the samples they send out are provided by the manufacturers for free. This does explain why they have such a spread of items in some boxes, though disappointing if you get one of the cheapie items.

:mad: SO annoyed with Selfridges, my beauty box is showing as delivered on their website. Nothing has been delivered and no card has been left telling me its been left with a neighbour. Its also not in the bins or over the garden fence. UK Mail strike again! I can't believe a company like Selfridges would have anything to do with them given their reputation. genuinely wont be surprised if it turns out the delivery driver or a neighbour has twigged what it is and nicked off with it for ebay.

Isn't it too soon for it to have reached you? Hopefully it's their website that is wrong and it will turn up tomorrow. I'd be v upset too as it's an amazing box. Fingers crossed it'll work out for you...Xx

Think I'll have to close my eyes and block my ears when this launches :eek: I stopped subbing to GB because their boxes were so inconsistent and I didn't like the way they treated people. I must remember this! I'm sure they'll make it look v tempting...

I'm starting to wind down my subs anyhow. I've got three SSB boxes to come from the Groupon offer (the one ages ago) but then I'm going to unsub. I'm keeping JB and I'm keeping Lux for now. I hope that nothing else launches :rotfl: (I like the look of the Betrousse boxes but I've resisted so far as I have far too much stuff to use up).
