Received my REN goodies today, am seriously considering placing an order for muslin cloths and paying £3 p&p just for the freebies :rotfl: the kit and 4 samples really are excellent value!0
-
I got some REN, I bought the sensitive skin set as I have a ton of LE muslins, have yet to use anything yet but will do tonight hopefully.
No baby yet, I'm only 30 week - but had an emergency cs with Chloe at 32 weeks so I am kind of on stand by! Just hope that this one is bigger then Chloe was as she was only 2lb 8oz!
I dont think I have another box due till the next SSB!No buying un-necessary toiletries challenge - Start total: 235. Current total: 273!!0 -
Hi, Love reading this thread, have lurked for a while although I did post about Joliebox charging me tax onto order which was an error on their part. I didn't get June's box anyway and was refunded, I really liked the fancy box too. Had an email for July's so hopefully receive that soon, have to say though I had a peek at the French site and what they appear to get looks brill, far superior. I was also looking to buy LIB's but have had that much Batiste dry shampoo from Buzz Agent don't think I'll bother, saying that would like to try Weleda and Melvita things but will look on their website's instead.
I was curious about SSB box with the 50% off as I've not registered with them, does anyone know what 6 months works out as? I unsubbed from Jolie waiting to see what arrives in July's box.I love this place :j:T:j0 -
After lurking for some time I have gone beauty crazy tonight. Just had an email from glossybox to say if I was one of the first 100 to subscribe I could get a free box alongside my subscription, either the Harrods one or the Natural One.
Then was far too tempted by the REN offer, looks great.
And have now just taken up the SheSaid Beauty 50% offer.
JaneDoe - I worked it out to be about £7.40 a box each month.0 -
Oh no you bad bad people, I finally caved and got some REN stuff.
I bought the conditioner as my main product. The offer is still amazing value even with postage - mine was £8.85 - for 10 samples plus a conditioner. Like a beauty box but I know I'll be pleased with everything in it

Alright... I caved and used the fiance's details to open a new REN account (10% off ehehe) for the kit & 4 samples, then went for the Glossybox + natural box option, lots of post for me!
I even worked out the £/ml prices based on full sizes in a spreadsheet to make sure I get the best value
Here's the list for anyone interested:
Frankincense Revitalising Night Cream 64p/ml
Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask 60p/ml
Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream 54p/ml
T-Zone Balancing Day Fluid 52p/ml
Photoactive Sun Veil SPF15 52p/ml - you only get a 3ml tube of this as opposed to the others which are 5ml (but I loved the texture so much that I went for the full size as well as more samples
)
Vita-Mineral Day Cream 50p/ml
F10 Smooth and Renew Peel Mask 40p/ml
Invisible Pores Detox Mask 36p/ml
Hydra-Calm Cleansing Gel 11p/ml0 -
Miclare I'm glad everything's okay. You've been quiet recently and wanted to let you know we were thinking of you and our other beauty baby
bunberry - you're hired! :rotfl: No, honestly, that is really really helpful so thank you. Now we can justify our spending even better
Well, I used my REN Omega 3 and the frankincense cream last night and I'm using it again tonight because I woke up with gorgeous glowy, soft skin. I honestly think that the kit and the 4 samples are well worth the £3 postage charge - it's like a beauty box all in itself! Absolutely loving having all these little tubes to play around with.
Now, on a completely different note, I wondered if any of you had tried spiral hair pins?
To put it in context, I have ridiculously thick hair - it is strong and unruly and normal hair clips/pins/combs etc flee in fear at the sight of it. I can't even use "normal" hair bands, I have to get those really thick ones.
Anyway, I saw someone mention these spiral pins on a beauty channel on YouTube and I checked out the videos on how to use them. I thought they looked fab but when I went to buy them they were stupidly expensive. Then I looked on ebay and found 10 pins for £1 delivered. Woo hoo!
I used them during my whole holiday in Morocco and had a gorgeous, comfortable, secure french twist the whole time - which was just amazing for me.
I highly recommend them but the seller I bought from no longer has them so I've just ordered some more from a different seller. They're £1.19 for 10 pins delivered. I can vouch for the pins but not the seller - although I've never had a problem buying from China, in fact I even had my wedding dress made by one of the Chinese ebay factories for a grand total of £90 delivered and it was amazing.
Blimey, are you still reading? I just ramble like a mad cat lady
Okay, if you are interested, the link to ebay is HERE and there's a quick YouTube video HERE I bought some for my friend's 9 year old daughter and mum loves them because they're quick whilst daughter loves them because mum can do fancy hairstyles on her with them!

Aww thank you, that's really sweet, have just been quiet as last week I had 3 hospital appointments but we're now in the bump is growing well and everything looks good stage so feel more relaxed. But then on monday my mum had to have emergency surgery to remove her gallbladder so was worrying about her but she's fine, just 3 hours drive away from me!
I am so tempted to order from REN again, but I so should be saving all pennies for my phone upgrade.
Oh and those pins look fab, I cant do anything with my super thick and heavy hair and normal ones just slide out. The spiral ones look fab and at that price you cant go wrong! xNo buying un-necessary toiletries challenge - Start total: 235. Current total: 273!!0 -
Oh bad bad people, just ordered GB number 2 for this month as couldn't resist the free Harrod's box to go with it. Did go via TCB though so should get a bit off as long as it tracks.
Was tempted to order another lot of Ren but decided if I buy much more this month, I'll have no spends for my hols next month.
Still tempted by LIB though, will wait to see what its all about on MondayTargets

Hi everyone,
Thanks Lynsey have joined GB and went for extra Harrods box, wonder if these will be the same boxes that got mentioned on Youtube a few months ago? Won't go for SSB just now, i'll be getting mumped at if I do.
Hi Purplebutterfly, I'm interested in the spiral pins & watched vid, will buy these to try, thanks. Anyway, I feel I'm getting too old for scrunchies that I've worn for years, definately stuck in a rut with my hair which is quite long waistlengh and sadly starting to grey at the front.:(
Hi grannyx2 Glad I read your post before buying GB completely forgot about TCB, hope it tracks too
I love this place :j:T:j0
