I've just ordered some spin pins from that link. My hair grows like grass, and is thick, and wavy. Will be handy to tame those cave-woman hair days. They are truly . :D

If I don't get on with them, will be fine for my daughter. Thanks again pb. :T

Just used the REN Glycolactic face mask. Smells gorgeous (as somebody already pointed out - apricot jam!), applies beautifully smoothly and leaves a result very similar to Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel.

I'll be able to tell tomorrow how well it worked but it could definitely be one to buy again.

I've just received an email received informing me I've won a RENOUVE Anti-Ageing hand sanitizer from a Latest in Beauty link. Feeling very chuffed, as they look covetable.

I used mine tonight as well. I expected a little bit more tingling but we will see in the morning what my skin looks like then. My skin seems quite shiny tonight, not sure if this is because this mask did a bit of a deep clean but it's not normally that oily.
This product was definitely the one I was most excited about trying and the one I would consider buying full price if this works well.

That sounds good. I chose it as my sample product twice, so will use it today, as was a little hesitant.

I bought one last summer as a treat for my birthday and have to say it was one of the worst purchases I have ever made.
My skin never improved like I had read in so many reviews, in fact it made me break out like crazy, which is called 'purging' and I was told it would improve after a few weeks, but it never did, so I stopped using it and it's now sitting in a drawer, unused and unloved!

It's OK, not as amazing as all the reviews made it out to be. Some of the claims made about it in the reviews are just outrageous! I just keep forgetting it's there and I haven't used it in ages. Mine came with the sensitive skin brush - maybe I should try a normal brush. I haven't even tried the body brush.

Maybe I should just bung it on ebay!

I was also tempted to sign up for GB (in husband's name, :rotfl: as I cancelled GB a few months back and didn't know if I'd be able to get the free box if I resubscribed in my name) as I remember liking the look of the natural box. The Harrods one I wasn't hugely impressed with, even though I got one of the so-called good ones.

Tried the Nailgirls gold polish from this months Joliebox on my toes and I'm really impressed with the coverage. It only needed one coat and the colour is much stronger than I expected. I'd definitely buy from the range.

I've used the Wen conditioning cleanser a few times. I have fine, shortish hair and it works quite well, but I found if I used too much it just made my hair greasy. It's been nice to try, but I don't think I'd go out of my way to buy it.

Dermalogica offer: (C&P directly from FB and I haven't tried it as I don't use this brand) Not as good as the REN offer by a long shot but there may be some of you who are wanting to try Dermalogica

Ladies another off for you all, this time on Dermalogica :) Ok so the offer currently, is If you purchase from their clean start range, they will give you a Free 'Smart mouth lip shine' worth £8.20, plus every purchase get a Free hydration deluxe sampler. I picked their get glowing mini kit for £12, nice way to try the range out without buying the full size. However with new customers if you add the code GLOSSY you get 20% off. So a mini kit, a lip shine and a Hydration sample comes all in all to £9.60 x

Just tried the natural box code for GB and it says it's not valid - boo, but on the upside it's saved me £13! Would have liked the natural box though, probably more then the actual GB! x

I bought the REN deal and tried the omega oil and the frankincense night cream last night. I am majorly impressed with the results. I woke up with lovely dewy skin, positively glowing. Can't wait to try the rest now.

I am currently sitting here with my REN Invisible Pores Detox mask drying on my face. According to the REN website, optimum results are obtained by using the glycolactic mask one day and then following it with the invisible pores mask the next. So that's what I'm doing :D

I have used the invisible pores mask before after getting a sample size with an order - it's one of those strange occasions where, at the time, I thought "this is amazing, I must buy some".........but then forgot all about it. I'm hoping to be blown away by it again this time.

    make up junkie alert

Now I have been umming and aaahhing over whether to post this next link because normally I don't like recommending things that I haven't fully tried. BUT, I'm gonig to post anyway because I believe that there are bargains to be had and that is the whole point of us being on this thread.

I want to talk about KIKO cosmetics. They are a Milanese brand that is very popular in mainland Europe but who have only just made it over to the UK. They now have a store in the Westfield shopping centre in London but they also now have an online store for the UK.

I stumbled across one of their shops in Spain and I was stunned by the amazing colours and sheer gorgeousness of everything. Not knowing of the brand, I only bought four things - lip gloss pencils, a colour corrector pallette and a curling mascara top coat.

I absolutely love the lip gloss pencils, they are smooth and creamy and give a lovely depth of colour halfway between a gloss and a lipstick. The curling mascara is fine - nothing wrong with it and it works quite well but I can only ever be excited about one mascara (YSL Faux Cils) so generally mascaras get a tough review from me. The colour pallette is fine but I wouldn't recommend it unless you'd tried it in the shop. The cream is a bit powdery and I find the colours a little too dark for very pale skin.

Okay, well, they emailed me to say there was a sale on right now and I had a look. When you register an account you get free p&p - the downside is that you HAVE to place a minimum £25 order :(

As I say, I can't vouch for the quality personally (although I have swatched lots of the eyeshadows and blushes and they seem extremely pigmented) but in Europe KIKO is considered a great budget alternative to MAC. In terms of their colour range, they are amazing.

I've just bought their Soft Light Powder which is half the price of MAC's Skinfinish but is apparently almost identical

I've also bought a couple of dual colour lipsticks

The site is a bit odd - there are discounted items that aren't in the sale section and some things aren't where you might expect to find them - but worth going through if you love make up. Some of the colours are beautiful and strange - I wouldn't wear some of them now but if I was 15 I'd grab them!

The standard nail polishes are currently £1.50 and contain NO Toluene, Camphor, DBP or Formaldehyde

They have magentic polishes for £1.50 too - although I think you need to buy the magnet separately for another £1.90

They also do skincare, suncare and haircare which is paraben-free for those who like to avoid parabens in their products and is unusual to find in a high street brand. They have a Factor 50 sunscreen stick in the sale for £2 - bargain!

The sheer range of products is incredible. Take eyshadows - you can have pressed, pigment, baked, cream, stick, liquid - and the colours are brilliant.

It does take time to work your way through everything on the site because there are so many products and so many colour options but I wanted to point it out because it could be a great alternative to MAC, Illamasqua etc and especially if you have teenage daughters who want unique colours you could save a fortune

Hope this helps someone - I'm off to remove my mask and look in my Magic Mirror!
